    Hangzhou grows some of China's finest green tea—Longjing.Every spring,before the traditional Qingming Festival, tea {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (love) from all over the country come to Longjing, a village {#blank#}7{#/blank#} lies just south of West Lake,for the first cut of top-quality tea. During tea season— {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (usual) late March and April—the air is filled with smell from the tea, when leaves {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (pick) and roasted in the village.The village is open to the public and you can pick your own tea after getting {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (permit) from the local tea farmers.

    In order to know a foreign language thoroughly, four things are necessary. Firstly, we must understand the language when we hear {#blank#}1{#/blank#} spoken. Secondly, we must be able to speak it ourselves correctly with {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (confident) and without hesitation. Thirdly, we must be able to read the language, and fourthly, we must be able to write it. We must be able to make sentences that are {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (grammatical) correct.

    There is no easy way to success {#blank#}4{#/blank#} language learning. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} good memory is a great help, but it is not enough only {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(memorize) rules from a grammar book. It is not much use learning by heart long lists of words and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} meanings, studying the dictionary and so on. We must learn by using the language. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} we are satisfied with only a few rules we have memorized, we are not really learning the language. “Learn through use” is a good piece of advice for those {#blank#}9{#/blank#} are studying a new language. Practice is important. We must practise speaking and {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(write) the language whenever we can.

    Hello, everyone! Up to now, we have finished learning the first three units of Book 1. Now let's review what we have learnt together.

    In Unit One, we have learnt about what kind of friends we should make from our friend Anne {#blank#}1{#/blank#}was killed by the German Nazis during World War Ⅱ. It was the first time in her life that she{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(keep)diaries in the hiding place. So she had great difficulty{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(set) down what she and her family had gone through. Though she grew so crazy about everything to do with nature, it was no pleasure looking through the dusty windows any longer.

    In Unit Two, we have known that there is more than one kind of English in the world and in some important ways they are very different{#blank#}4{#/blank#}one another.     The flying carpet rose again and soon they arrived at a thick rainforest. The monkey told Daisy, “ Attention should {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（pay）to the rainforest where animals live. Our natural habitats are of great {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(important).” Daisy was affected by what the monkey said. She decided {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(make) a difference to wildlife protection.

    A farmer once organized a competition between his dog and his rabbit. He dug a hole in one of his biggest fields, and hid a carrot and a bone in it. He wanted to see {#blank#}1{#/blank#} animal would find them first.

    The {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(cheer) and optimistic rabbit threw himself into looking for the carrot, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(dig) here and there, totally convinced that he would find it. But the dog, after sniffing around for a bit, {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(lie) down and began to complain about how difficult it was to find one bone in such a big field.

    The rabbit dug {#blank#}5{#/blank#}hours, and with every new hole the dog complained even more about how difficult this was, even for the rabbit. {#blank#}6{#/blank#}the rabbit thought that each hole dug was one hole less that needed digging. When there was no place in the whole field {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(leave) to dig, the rabbit dug a tunnel right to {#blank#}8{#/blank#}the dog had been lying all the time. There he found the carrot and the bone.

    This is how the dog lost the game. He had come to {#blank#}9{#/blank#}right place at the very beginning but failed to find the bone {#blank#}10{#/blank#}he only complained and didn't try at all.

    Without my phone, I {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (fall) asleep listening to the songs of frogs and crickets. In the morning, I woke up {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (feel) energetic. Sitting by the river, riding a bike, or singing old songs, I truly enjoyed what I was doing.

    I felt free without my phone at weekend camp, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} changed me completely. I listened to what my body wanted instead of what my phone was telling me to do.
