    A young couple bought a big house from two sisters, whom had lived there for 30 years. The house was nice and the couple bought it at low price.

And later, they thought that if the sisters were able to stay warm and comfortably in the house during the winter, so could they. With that in mind, they decided not to make any preparations for the cold weather.

    Winter arrived and temperatures soon drops below zero. The large house became freezing cold, with frost（霜）covered the walls. Finally, the husband couldn't bear with it anymore.     Last Sunday, some of my classmates and I went to the West Lake for fun. I noticed an old dustman collecting rubbish throw about by visitors. He was apparently having great difficulty collect some small items, especially cigarette butts. An idea was occurred to me. Why not help him collect rubbish? Much to their joy, all my classmates agreed and were willing help. So we work hard together with the dustman and collected lots of rubbish. Then we parted but waved farewell to the thankful dustman. Tiredly as I was, I felt really happy. I truly believe we'll have an harmonious society if everybody takes action. How a fine deed!

    For years, I didn't have the habit for working out. One day last month I decide to start building the habit. Now I'm proudly to say I work out almost every day. Exercise not only gives me more energy throughout the day and also lifts my spirits. I usually exercise in the morning. That way I will get the energy I need it for the rest of the day. Exercise helps me building self-control, which are important for me to build other good habits. Also, I can use my exercise time for learning. I usually listen English programs while work out. It's a good way to build my knowledges.

    Mistakes are unavoidable in life. But attitudes towards it may make a difference. I still remember how my spoken English was improved. In a beginning, I always kept silent in our oral class to avoid make mistakes. Before long my teacher get to know about my situation. He encouraged me to speak out that I thought. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher will help me figure out how I could have avoided them. I also joined in an English club to get more chances to speak. Practice makes perfect. Now I can talk fluent in English. So don't afraid of making mistakes. Learn from mistakes, and success is just waiting for us.

    I once get a VIP pass to a huge concert given by one of the most popular rock bands in world. The ticket qualified me to meet all the member of the band backstage but to watch the whole process of setting up for the concert. The guitarist was a man whom was very kind. I did not have much anxiety while getting to know them better, but the rest were more of reserved. They just smiled and made friend gestures. Anyway, watching the stage being set up and all the microphones being checking, I understood how hard it was to putting on a stadium concert. It took hours of preparation to produce quality sound.
