Zhuge Liang asked his soldiers to fill 20 large boats{#blank#}3{#/blank#} many straw men. On the early morning of the third day，Zhuge Liang's soldiers sailed the boats towards the camps of Cao Cao's army on the other side of the river. The soldier shouted and beat their drums{#blank#}4{#/blank#} . 

While Cao Cao's soldiers{#blank#}5{#/blank#} sailing on the river，they heard the sounds. At that time，they{#blank#}6{#/blank#} they were in danger. But they could not see through the{#blank#}7{#/blank#} fog （雾） on the river. Cao Cao asked his soldiers to shoot arrows towards the sounds of the{#blank#}8{#/blank#} and the shouting. Zhuge Liang's boats were soon full of arrows. 

Zhuge Liang's soldiers then turned the boats around and shouted， "Thank you for{#blank#}9{#/blank#} arrows，Cao Cao. " Zhuge Liang took all these arrows to Zhou Yu. There were{#blank#}10{#/blank#} than 100，000 of them. Zhuge Liang made the impossible task possible. That's why the story is so famous. 

Last week I went to an art show. A painting caught my eyes. To my amazement, it was painted by Steven, one of my {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Then many things about him came into my mind.

Steven was from a poor family. His parents{#blank#}2{#/blank#}not afford to buy him some basic things that he needed. Once our school provided gloves for poor children. I put Steven's name on the list. He was so {#blank#}3{#/blank#} when he received a pair. He loved to wear them and they were always {#blank#}4{#/blank#} than anybody else's.

The sun is going to rise(升起) on Farmer Tim's farm. Chicken Chester wakes up(叫醒) the cows."The chickens are going to take a holiday (度假) today," Chester says "Is that so?" asks Daisy the cow.

"Yes," Chester says." We lay(产) ten eggs this week, and there are only five of us."

"But what about us?" the other cows say" We give Farmer Tim 100 bottles of milk a day. There are only ten of us! We need a holiday more than (多于) them."

"But we can't take a holiday on the same day as the chickens, "Daisy says." What will Farmer Tim say?"

Then Rooster Rowdy starts to crow(打鸣).It's time for the farmer to wake up. But Farmer Tim doesn't come out. Rowdy calls two more times. "Call him again," the chickens say. Rowdy crows again and this time Farmer Tim wakes up. But he doesn't come out. He just opens the window and says to everyone, "I work hard this week. It's time for me to take a holiday today!"
