      I'm so glad you're coming to China! Your mother，our foreign English teacher，told me you're worried about what you should and shouldn't do as a guest in China．Here's some advice．You will probably be invited to a big meal. You may find it earlier than you expect because Chinese people eat dinner much earlier than people in the West．There will be a lot of different dishes，not just three courses．You may find it difficult to use chopsticks if you haven't tried before．It's a good idea to get some practice．When the food is served，you should take time to look at it. The preparation takes a long time and everything will look beautiful．The plates will be placed in the middle of the table，for everyone to share．Take a little of everything and then have some more of the things you like．Chinese people like to talk about food，so it's a good topic of conversation．At the end of the meal，you will usually be served with fruit．Eat your fruit，thank your friends， and go．

Therefore, to build the 21^st century Maritime Silk Road is the best decision to realize this goal. On November 8, with the help of APEC held in Beijing, the idea of the Belt and Road(一带一路) that run through Asia. Europe and Africa came true. Over 2,000 years ago, ancient Silk Road was from Changan (now Xi'an) and Laoyang, Gansu and Xinjiang to Central Asia and West Asia at last. It also connected kinds of maritime countries. Countries next to Silk Road changed a lot of goods(物品) with each other. 2,000 years later, we believe the beautiful Silk Road will contribute greatly to the development of the nearby countries.

    The United States

    Men bow and shake hands to greet each other. Women do not usually shake hands. If you call someone, you use his or her full name. The family name comes first; then the first name.

    Finland(芬兰)

    Finns (芬兰人) greet each other with a handshake. Hugs and kisses are only for close friends and family members.

    The Philippines(菲律宾)

    Smart Screens

    This year, smart screens will be big news. They use AI technology and look like an iPad. Google Home Hub is a good example. It is a smart screen that people can use for everything from looking up video recipes(菜谱)to looking at family photos. You can also connect your other smart devices(设备)to Home Hub through the Internet. You can turn on lights or the TV simply by speaking to Home Hub or touching a button(按钮)on the screen.

    5G Internet

    How fast is your mobile phone network? After 3G and 4G, 5G is on the way. According to Science Daily, it is hoped that the US will test 5G this year, while the UK will do so in 2020. China has already tested 5G in some parts of Beijing and Hebei.

    5G is very fast. Its speed is about 10 to 20 times faster than networks now, the BBC noted. You can download a whole film in just one second with 5G. This used to take a few minutes with 4G networks.

    3DMetal Printing

    3D printing isn't new. It first came out in the 1990s. But it isn't commonly used in everyday l life. 3D printers are expensive, each costing thousands of dollars. In addition, they can only print plastics and other basic materials.

    But now, some 3D printers can print metal. HP can print some small metal parts for cars, such as key rings and gear sticks(操作杆). People can use 3D printing to make things like toys. But what if people could print these at home? This would help save time and money. More people might think about buying their own 3D printers.
