浙江省嘉兴市平湖市2023-2024学年八年级人文(阅读)上学期英语期末抽测试卷(2023.12)
Three years ago, I started working at the University of Leeds and I was looking for things to do. I noticed that a community school was (提供) Chinese evening classes. I paid fora beginner class (没有) much thought.
I had no plans to move to China. I just wanted to learn a new l , which is also a good chance for me to know more about Chinese culture and Chinese (传统习俗). I used to speak fluent English and Spanish. But I think there should be a huge difference between learning something new as a child and learning as an adult.
I had Chinese lessons (严肃). There was only one lesson a week and each lasted 90 m . Mr. Kong, the teacher, was energetic. For each class, he would teach us what seemed like hundreds of new words. After (数个) months, I got used to this. Through weekly classes, my mind would reorder and make sense of the chaos.
There are more than 6, 000 international students. It was not difficult to find Chinese students who want to (练习) English in exchange for Chinese. My new Chinese friends helped me go over everything I had learned in class.
Now I'd like to describe Chinese grammar as an easier one than that of English or Spanish. I am ready to overcome any difficulty and become fluent in Chinese.
"Teenager" means people from 13 to 19 years old. Although they are young, they have to make many important choices by themselves. They need to think about questions like these: Can I get into a university? {#blank#}1{#/blank#} However, other people also influence (影响) their choices (选择).
Who influences teenagers? It depends on the kind of choice. When teenagers buy things, friends are the most important influence. This is especially true for clothes and music. TV shows, advertisements and parents also influence teenagers. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Some teenagers say it's best to regard (把……看成) both parents and friends as influences. James, a 17-year-old boy says, "Parents are really important because they can tell you what is right and wrong." {#blank#}3{#/blank#} As a girl said, "If our parents don't let us make our own choices, maybe in the future we won't know how to do it." {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Because friends sometimes know more about them than their parents do.
Do you depend on parents or others when you don't know what to do and how to do it? {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Your future is in your hand.
A. What kind of jobs do I want? B. Teenagers should make more friends. C. They also need listen to parents' opinions. D. And they feel friends can often be a big help. E. But teenagers also feel they need to make choices themselves. F. Whoever (无论谁) you depend on, the correct choice is the most important. G. About more serious things, parents are probably the most important influence. |
