It's 5 o'clock. Sean Murphy is on his way home from work. He is tired and the bus is full, but when he thinks of seeing his lovely family at home, his heart is full of joy again.

"I want to see my wife, my children and my mother," he thinks. "But first of all I want to sit on the sofa. I want to relax and read a good book."

Finally Mr. Murphy is at home. He is very tired now but he is happy. He says hello to his family. Then he sits down on the sofa, stretches(伸展)his legs and lifts up his book.

"Now I can relax," he thinks and smiles. But Mr. Murphy is not alone in the room. His mother is playing the guitar and his wife is playing the piano. His two younger children are fighting and his two older children are arguing about the television. And the pots and pans are bubbling on the cooker(炊具).

It's the same every day. Poor Murphy is very unhappy. He talks to his friend about his problem at a bus stop.

Mr. Murphy's friend listens to him carefully. Then he says: "Go and see Linda McCormack! She is a very clever woman. She knows the answer to everything."

Mr. Murphy thinks it worth(值得)a try. The next day, when he gets home, he doesn't go into the house as usual. He goes to the garage(车库)and gets on his bike.

It was Mother's Day last year and I was doing{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(shop) at the supermarket with my five-year-old son, Johnson. As we were leaving, we saw{#blank#}2{#/blank#} old woman fall down and hit her head on the ground. Her husband tried{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(look) after her, but there was blood(血) everywhere.

Seeing this, Johnson became very sad about what happened{#blank#}4{#/blank#} the old woman. At the front of the supermarket, a man was selling{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(flower). Johnson suggested(建议) that we should buy the old woman a flower. "It will make her{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(feel) better,"he said. I was glad that he'd come up with such a sweet idea. So we walked towards the flower seller and bought one.

{#blank#}7{#/blank#} we walked up to her, my son became scared(害 怕的) to see the blood. Instead I gave the flower to the husband and told him, "My son is sad to see what happened to your wife and wants{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(buy) this flower to make her calm(镇定的)."

The old man{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(cry) and said,"Thank you very much. You have a wonderful son. Happy Mother's Day." The man then gave his wife the flower, telling her who it was from. She was{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(bad) hurt, but the old woman looked up at Johnson with love in her eyes.

 David and his friends are playing hide and seek(玩捉迷藏游戏) in his room.  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} John is under the table. Next, David finds Sally. She is behind the door. David sees her red hat. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

"I know where you are, Jack, " David says."{#blank#}3{#/blank#}" But Jack is not there. David can't find Jack.

" Come out, Jack" David says.

"{#blank#}4{#/blank#}" Jack says." Help me out(帮我一把)."

{#blank#}5{#/blank#} He can get in(进入), but he can't get out.

Jim Green is an announcer (播音员) for the program. Most of the girls and boys like the program. They also like Jim Green. Some of them often make phone calls to him and 1 him. There are lots of 2 to him every day, too. Jim Green gets up at 6: 00 every morning. He has bread and a glass of milk for breakfast. He leaves home at 6: 30 and 3 his office at 7: 15.

The program 4 at 7: 30. He plays the new records(唱片) of the pop songs and modern music for his 5 . At 8: 00 it's time 6 the news. Jim 7 work at 10: 30. He goes home by car. He 8 newspapers and 9 to music after supper. He thinks his life is very 10 .
