There is nothing like chocolate. Just thinking about it can make your mouth water. September 13 is the International Chocolate Day, which gives us a good reason to celebrate the world's most popular sweet. 

Chocolate comes from a civilization（文明）called the Maya. They had a special food called cocoa. The word cocoa means" gift from God". About five hundred years ago, the Europeans found the Mayans and used cocoa to make chocolate. 

For centuries, only the rich could enjoy chocolate, and normal people could not get hold of it. All this changed when European companies started to produce chocolate bars in the 19th century. Chocolate comes in different colors and sizes. People often eat white, dark and milk chocolate. The biggest chocolate bar was ever made in Italy in 2011 and weighed almost 6 tons! That's as big as an elephant. 

There are also different shapes of chocolate and people often take them as holiday gifts. Chocolate bunnies（小兔子）and eggs are popular on Easter, chocolate coins are common on Christmas Day, and chocolate hearts are great gifts for Valentine's Day. At certain parties and wedding ceremonies(结婚典礼), chocolate fountains always surprise guests. 

Lots of people say chocolate is bad for your health. Not necessarily so! Scientists now say it is good for people's heart and can make the body release chemicals that actually make us happy and make us feel better. But don't eat too much of it. 

In a big country, a man was living along with his family. The man had a large amount of money. One day he took his son on a trip to the countryside. The dad's only 1 was to show his son how poor people live, so the son could 2 his good fortune（命运）.

During their journey, they reached a small village. There, they spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be 3 a very poor family.

The son 9 , "We have a small piece of land to live on and they have field s which go 10 our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others." The wise son's learning did not end yet. The son went on 11 his trip experience, "We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have 12 around our house to protect us, but they have friends to protect them. We spend our free time with television s and mobiles, but they spend their free time with family and relatives."

The son summed up（总结） his experience on the trip to the village, "Thank Dad for showing me how 13 we are...!!"

It does not always come easy to discover oneself. From a young age, I had a strong sense of who I was to become, 1  an accident made me redefine(重新定义) myself. To me, skating was above all. There was 2  in this world that filled my heart with such joy. I spent twenty-four hours a week practising my 3 . I have no social life or interests but skating, and skating brought me gold medals in nearly every 4 .

Walter Orthmann, a 100-year-old man from Brazil, has been working for 84 years at the same company. He broke the Guinness World Record for the longest career at the same company. 

Walter was born in 1922, in a small Brazilian town As the oldest son of five, his mother took him to find a job. He started working at the age of 15 to help his family with financial problems. He got his first job as an assistant. With amazing working skills, he became a successful sales manager at the age of 20. 

In the 1950s, Walter often went on business. He built solid relationships with his customers. His talents and abilities won their trust and support. Some of the customers even became Walter's long life friends. 

In 2022, he tumed 100, but he didn't plan to retire from the only company he had ever worked for. He celebrated his hundredth birthday in the company with his coworkers, friends and family, holding an unforgettable party, 

"When we do what we like, we don't see the time go by!"said Walter Orthmann. "I don't do much planning, nor care much about tomorrow. All I care about is that tomorrow will be another day in which I will wake up, get up, exercise, and go to work. "He suggested people should get busy with the present, not the past or the future. This is what drives him to make history!

In February, 2022, Walter Orthmann was officially recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. Looking back on his life so far, Walter described this record as his"proudest achievement",
