Excellent English food at the Country House

    Last Saturday night，my family and I ate at the Country House．

    The Country House serves traditional English food，we paid about 15 to 20 pounds a person to eat there．

    The food was wonderful．The fish pie reminded me of my grandma．She used to cook it for me．I also had some fish and chips，and it was fantastic．

    The waiters were polite，but a little slow．We were seated at 7 p．m．，but we did not receive our food until 7：40 p．m．

    I would certainly recommend the Country House for good，traditional English food．However，you should get there early and be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting for your food．

    Welcome to a day of my life in 2037．I am Li Ming．I work in an office．I don't need to work in the afternoon．At 8：00 in the morning．my robot servant Smart will wake me up．He will cook me a nice breakfast and then drive me to my office．After 10 minutes, I arrive my office．Then a big screen will show me what to do the day．At lunch time，I will have my lunch with some of my good friends in a restaurant．The robots there will make all of the dishes．They are delicious!

    At 17：00，we will take the spaceship to the moon．It will take us about half all hour to get there．We will enjoy the hot spring(温泉)on the moon and watch Earth TV News on the dome(穹顶)screen over our head．Then we will go back to the earth at 20：00．About half an hour later，I arrive at my house and say goodbye to my friends．After a shower and a glass of milk，I will go to bed and have a nice dream．

    A young lady was driving a family car home with her father when they were caught in a heavy storm. The young lady was a little afraid and asked her father. "What should I do, stop or keep driving?"

    Her father said, "Keep driving."

    Don't give up, even if the stronger do. If you keep going, soon your "personal storms" will be over. The sun will shine on you again and the road ahead will be dry and clear.

    A passenger told a flight attendant(服务员) that he needed a cup of water to take his medicine just as the plane was taking off. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} The passenger agreed.

Thirty minutes later, when the passenger called for service, the flight attendant felt worried. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} As a result, the passenger couldn't take his medicine on time. She hurried over to him with a cup of water, but he refused it.

And over 150 students received first prizes in paper-cutting contests under her guidance. By chance, she established her own company, aiming to further increase the traditional art's influence. She centered great efforts on studying modern consumption trends(消费趋势). And she has created all kinds of household things to meet the need of the market. To her surprise, all her paper-cutting products have sold well in more than 3,000 stores across the country.

    In the course of running her enterprise ,she has set up a complete supply chain(供给链) including design and production as well as sales. It has made many improvements compared with traditional business models. In addition, she spreads her business to clothes, electronics and gifts, along with other industries.
