    The new term is coming! It's time for school. Last term, I make little effort on my English, but my grades were not satisfying. During the holiday, I realized English was of great important and made up my mind to make a progress. My plan goes as follows: for one thing, I will learn new words for at least 20 minutes every morning and recite a l00-words paragraph; for another, I will try to be actively in class. Besides, on my spare time, I will read more books about different topics open my mind. I think I can improve me a lot in this way, because that there is a will, there is a way.

    I went to see the film after supper. On my way to the cinema I met an English woman, that had lost her way.  I gave up the chance see the film and take her to her hotel. While go there, I told her about great changes   that had taken place here in the past few years and she told me something about her country.  Although I missed the film, but I still felt very happily. I had not only helped her out of trouble and practiced my speaking English. If I had not worked hard on English, I would not have been able to help him.

    It was a sunny day today and I went to Xishan Park for a spring outing. The moment I entered in the park, a variety of beautiful flowers and green trees come into sight. Attracted by the beauty, I couldn't stop taking photo. As I wandered along the path, enjoy the beautiful view, I noticed something unpleasantly. Two schoolgirls jumped the fence to pick flowers. Obviously they didn't realize that their behavior had done great damage on the beauty of the park. Without delay, I went up and stopped them politely. Quite embarrassing, the two girls came out immediately. Then we took pictures outside the fence. Seeing that, I smiled and something looked nicer in my eyes.

    Recently an English speaking competition held in Chongqing People's Great Hall on April 15. Senior I and II students from Chongqing take part in it. The students introduced Queensland and Chongqing but also compared life and study to Chongqing and Queensland. Through the competition students know Queensland better. They have also improved their language ability, who will be a good help for cultural communication. The first six best students will enjoy a freely trip to Queensland. We will live and study there for two weeks in August.

    I also took part in a competition. Ranked 3^rd, I will be given the chances too. I am glad I will experience life in Queensland myself and to improve my English as well.

    I was only 10 when we move to Switzerland. I remember that I enjoyed flying across the whole country and that I wasn't very happy about leave my friends. But Dad said it'd be good for we all to live in countryside around Bern（伯尔尼）. And Uncle Jack, who'd been living there for about 20 years, were always telling us how a beautiful city Bern was. He said it would be easily for Dad to get a job in Bern, but we all agreed to move to there. Now we've been here for quite a few year, and we all love it.
