Once, a circle (圆）lost a piece of its own.

    The circle felt the world was dark. It wanted to be 1, so it went around here and there to look for its missing(缺失的) 2.But because it was not a circle any more, it couldn't roll(滚） 3. It had enough time to enjoy the flowers and the sunshine. It could even 4with the birds and the butterflies along the way. It found lots of 5pieces,but no one matched. 6 it left them all by the side of the road and kept looking for its right piece.

    Then one day the circle found a piece and the piece 7 it well. The circle put the piece into its body. Now it was a whole circle with nothing lost. It was so happy and began to roll. It could roll very fast, but it rolled 8 fast to see the flowers or say hello to the  birds and the butterflies. The world was quite different when it rolled so quickly!     Sometimes we needn't 10about what we lose. Maybe losing is a good thing.

    A lovely rabbit, a cute hamster, some colourful fish, a strange-looking turtle or a snake...What kind of pet would you like? Lots of kids love animals and dream of having a pet.

    But not every family can have a pet. So, in many Western countries such as America, Britain and Australia, primary and middle school classes have their own pets. Looking after a pet is not as easy as you may think! Fish and turtles need clean water and the right food. Hamsters and rabbits need fresh vegetables and a warm place to sleep. Even little mice need good care! What would you feed a pet mouse? How about snakes?

    Class pets teach kids about nature and being responsible. Sometimes the pets have babies. It's very exciting but it also means having more animals to take care of!

    Students take turns to take care of their class pets. Every week the pets have a new “mum and dad” to look after them.

    You may want to know what happens to the class pets during school holidays. At the end of term, the teacher chooses a responsible student. This lucky student keeps the pets at his or her home for the holidays.

    Special homework was given to the students in Grade Four at a primary school in Foshan, Guangdong this April, that is to say the children must11100 million grains(颗粒) of rice. We are often warned by our teacher not to waste precious (宝贵的)time, because time lost will never return. I think it quite true. What does time look like?  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Time is abstract (抽象的), so we have to think about it.

Do you like to have any online classes? It is becoming 1 to take classes at home during the early 2020. All you need is a computer or a cellphone. However, most students don't seem to like online classes. A 2 shows that only 33% of over 1,500 students from 10 cities would take such classes.

A typical American high school has several large buildings and enough space for about 1,500 students. Every student is given a locker. When students first arrive at school, they go straight to their lockers to put away or get their textbooks and to hang up their outdoor clothes. As American textbooks are expensive, students would rather loan (租借) than buy them. Students must pay back if they lost any of them.

American students have different types of school transport. They usually take a yellow school bus or walk to school if they live close enough. Sometimes their parents drive them to school.

When they turn 16 years of age, most take a free driving class at school for one term. If students' exam passing grades in the class and also pass their state driver's exam, they can begin driving themselves to school.

Each day, students take six or seven classes. They must take science, math, English and social studies. They can choose art, homemaking, fashion design and other classes.
