  Today is Sunday. Mike's family are at home. His father Mr. Black is reading a book in the living room. His mother is cooking in the kitchen. His brother Tom and his friend John are playing chess in the bedroom. His grandpa and grandma are watching TV in the living room. Where is Mike? He is doing his homework.

    I'm Helen . I'm an English girl . I'm a student . I'm in Class 1, Grade 1. I get up at six o'clock . I go to school at seven o'clock. We have three classes in the morning and two in the afternoon . We go home at four thirty . My father is a policeman . My mother is a driver . I love my father and mother .

    My bother Jack is the top student in his class in East Middle School. He is seven. He likes yellow very much and his clothes are all yellow. Jack is also quite helpful. His classmates like him very much. His class teacher, Miss Mary, likes to talk with him. Usually he has some good ideas. His favourite sport is football. He is good at it.

     I like animals very much. My favourite animal is a parrot, but my mother does not like parrots. She likes cats, so we have a cat named(名字叫) Miaomiao. Miaomiao is very lovely but sometimes(有时) it makes me angry(生气的), so I don't like it.

A: It's a small animal. It runs fast!

B: Is it a fox?

A: No, it isn't. It's a rabbit. This animal is small. It can jump! What is it?

B: Is it a frog?

A: Yes, you're right.

It's a rainy day. A woman with a dog gets on a bus. It's a big dog and it's feet are not clean. The conductor doesn't want the dog to sit on the chair. But the woman says to the conductor, "Oh, I will pay for my dog. Can he sit here like the other people?" The conductor looks at the dog and says, "Yes, madam, but like the other people, he must not put his feet on the chair."
