爱的拥抱

"Can we play football?"Qiqi asks his dad. "Not now."Dad says,"We're getting ready for 

the baby. "He is not happy because everyone is getting ready for the baby.

The next day, the baby is coming! At the hospital, Qiqi's dad looks worried. Qiqi asks his dad,"Shall we talk?"His dad says,"Of course."Qiqi tells his dad his feelings. He says he is afraid   that the baby will take away his parents' love. Dad gives him a warm hug(拥抱)and says, "Don't   worry, Qiqi. We will always love you." Qiqi's grandma says, "There will be one little sister or      brother to love you."After listening to these words, he feels happy.

Jobs in the Animal World

In the animal world, some animals'jobs are amazing. What can a pigeon do? It can be a post-man. It can fly. It can deliver letters. The wood-pecker is a good doctor for the trees. It can eat the worms in the trees. Because of this, the trees stay healthy. Do you know the frog? It can jump and swim in the water. It could be a lifeguard.What about the cat? It can be a good police offi-cer. It can catch the mice.

An old man was walking in a street with his horse. It was raining hard. The old man was cold because he was walking in the rain. He wanted to go to a restaurant. It was a quarter past three in the afternoon. The old man got to a small restaurant. There were lots of people in it. The old man couldn't come near the fire. He thought and thought. At last he said to the waiters, "Take some fish to my horse." The waiter and the people were very surprised. The waiter said, "A horse doesn't eat fish." The old man told the waiter, "This horse is very interesting. It can sing, dance and do all kinds of things. It can eat fish, too," So the waiter brought the horse some fish.
       All the people in the restaurant ran out to see the horse eat except the old man. Now the old man sat beside the fire. After a while the waiter came back and said, "Your horse didn't eat any fish." The old man said, "All right, take the fish back and put it on the table. I'll eat it."

Sarah has a little cat. It's very cute. Sarah loves it very much. Today is Monday. The cat is ill. Sarah is sad. Sarah takes it to a pet hospital.The cat is better on Tuesday. In the afternoon, the cat gets well. It likes playing with cups very much. Oh, no! The cup is broken. Sarah is angry.The cat is afraid. It runs away. It climbs up the tree. But it can't climb down. Sarah and the cat are worried. A fireman comes and says,"Don't worry."He helps the cat. Sarah says to the cat,"I'm sorry."Finally, they are happy.

Kiki's Diary

Saturday, 18th March

It was sunny today. Lily and I visited the Science Museum. It is far away from our homes, so we met at my house and went there by underground together.

We arrived at the museum at 9 o'clock. At the museum, we saw a lot of interesting things. We touched a wall, and it became a window. The robots there were amazing too!

We met some classmates and friends there. We learnt a lot about science.

We left the museum at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
