    Private cars play a very important part in people's life. They bring people convenience, joy or a new lifestyle. However, there are also problems to private cars. Firstly, with the rapidly increase of private cars, parking became a big headache. Another problem is the traffic. We often hear news of traffic jams, which accounts for many serious accidents. The worst thing is how the poisonous gases they give off polluting the air and do great harm to people's healthy. I think we should use cars only when is necessary. For an example, instead of driving, we can walk, ride bicycles or take the bus to work.

    A foreign student graduated with honors from a finely university in Germany. He expected to find a good job and have a bright future.     My favorite sport is playing basketball. In  middle school, I joined in the basketball team. All the teammate practised bard after school. Once our school had match against another school. At the very beginning, we were so nervous which we couldn't cooperate very good, because this was the first time for us to compete for the school honor. In the half match they fell behind. Our leader calls us together and said that we must get uniting to beat them. Then we tried our best and won the game on last. Play basketball makes me realize the importance of union and team work.

Dear Mike,

    How happy we are to know you're going to participate in our Chinese Idiom Contest. Here are what you are supposed to know about.

    The contest will be hold in the school library at 8:00 a.m in July 15, 2018. Characters wrong used should be recognized in some Chinese idioms. Besides, you are required say out the idioms by guess gestures of your partner. Hopefully, why I have to remind you of is that you'd better to get one story idiom prepared in case you are probably invited to tell one. By the way, all our Chinese teachers will be invited as judge.

    Every morning John goes to work by trains. He always buys a piece of newspaper, which help to make the time pass quickly. One Thursday morning, he turns to the sports page. He wanted to reading the news about an important football match the night ago. The news was such interesting that he forgot to get off at his station. He didn't know it when he saw the sea. He got off at the next station, and had to wait long time for a train to return back. Of course, he arrived very late at the office.  His boss was very angry when John told him why she was late. “Work is more important than football”, he shouted loudly.
