    Believe it or not, many of the biggest change in how English is spoken have come from common people in the streets. And one of the most important places which English has changed is the playground! These playgrounds can be any place where the young people meet, such like a sports field or a beach. Often words using by black kids in big cities become popular for other kids many years later. On the beaches of southern California, teenagers invented words to describe what they felt when they surfed. These words found its way into the high schools and then to other places. Similar changes happen among young people in Ireland and Australia. Children from one group would find ways to play with another group more easily. Often they made new words just develop an identity different from their parents.

    Cars are everywhere. In big city and small towns, the preferred method of transportation is the automobile. People can get to where they need to go quickly and easy, and it has given a new kind of freedom to many people who may not have experienced it ago. But was driving really the best thing for our society? I argue that it is not. First, pollution was a serious problem, and more cars only make them worse. There is just not way to reduce pollution without decrease the number of cars on the road. Second, cars are very dangerous. Traffic accidents are responsible tens of thousands of deaths every year. Finally, cars are so expensive for most people to afford. However, that doesn't stop low-income families from spending the most of their money to pay for the family car.

    My friend Lin Tao was born in Liaoning Province to the northeast of China. He met with a traffic accident when he was younger. As a result, he lost one of his legs. Although he suffered a great deal, he never loses his heart. Lin Tao has been published a book. He enjoys playing his guitar and listen to music. He does excellent job in school. But he is always ready to help those in trouble. He wins the respects of his classmates and his teachers.

    In my opinion, Lin Tao is extreme brave and he sets a good example to we all.

    I was playing at my cousin house. Since his family was rich than mine, he had more toys than I did. There was one on particular I'd always wanted. I put into my pocket when he wasn't looking. I guessed, even at that age, I would never be able to enjoy to playing with the toy or faced my cousin again; I would always know I'd done something wrong. Late on, my aunt drove me home. When she dropped me off, I pulled out the toy slow and gave it back. She knows what had happened, but she thanked me and ever mentioned it again.

    The other day I saw a beautiful dress at a shop and fall in love with it. I tried it on and found it fit perfect so I bought it! My favorite thing about the dress is that it has such many pockets that I don't need take a bag any more. I also get lots of attentions from my friends whenever I wear it, that makes me proud. What's funny is that the style is very similar with what people wore back in the 1990s. In the fact, I have found some old photographs of my mother wear a similar dress. It's really amazing that we've started to wear things that was popular about twenty years ago.
