    The summer job is very much popular among some university students. Long before the end of a school year, students start their summer vacation job search. They send letters to businesses, going to job interviews, and ask our friends and relations for help. By June the students usually had found jobs and then they begin preparing enter the world of work.

    Reasons for wanting a summer job differs from student to student. Some students work to pay their school expenses, some work to gain experience or just to fun. Salesmen or waiters are two of the most common job that students try to find.

    The day before yesterday, my classmates and me went to the park near my school. Can you guess that what we did there? Not for amusement but to take part in a volunteer task. We reached a park at nine o'clock. The whole class was divided three groups. Group One planted trees and water flowers. Group Two picked up litter leaving by the tourists and cleaned all the benches.     My senior high school life started as military training (军训). It was included two parts: the theory exam and the physical training, that lasted about two weeks. The latter was much hard than the former. Dressing in green uniforms and exposed to the sun, we had to follow the soldiers' daily routine and go through hard training. Each morning, we had to get up and fold quilts rapid. We must finish our meals in limited times, too. Then I think it unbearable. Besides, now looking back, I find it necessary. It is the military training teaches me how to bear hardship and lead a better life.
