                  Being responsible is actually not that difficult. I used tothink it is hard to grow up into a responsible member of our society. Anincident happening in a rainy Sunday afternoon changed my attitude. I was on myway to the bookstore and was waiting for the green light while a girl wasknocked down by passing car, which drove off quickly. A man immediately gavehis first aid and I had joined in without hesitation. Soon many help was givento the girl. Because we sent her to the nearest hospitals in time, she was ableto receive properly treatment. Not badly injured, I expressed gratitude tothose giving help.     Last month our school held a Reading Week, which aim was to encourage the students to read wide. During the week, book lovers recommended a plenty of good books suitable for high school students. In addition, two famous writers are invited to give lectures on how to understand and appreciate literary work. The poetry reading contest was another amazed activity for the students to bring his talent into full play. All the contestants took turns read their favorite poems to the audience.     There are bound to be question marks over our future, so we often think of future. We often wonder that the world will like a hundred years' time.

    Yesterday my Chinese teacher asked me recite a poem today in class. I became very anxiously at once because I had never try a poem. Then I realise that if I practised hard, I could succeed. Therefore, I decided to do his best. After I got home, I stayed in my room, spend all my time reading the poem aloud. This morning when the Chinese teachers came in, my heart raced wildly but my face went red. Though I was quite afraid to stand before my classmates, I finally remembered that what to recite. Lucky, I made no mistake at all.
