As is known to all, everyone needs a friend. However, there are times you want to know how to make friends. Here are some suggestions for you!

(spend) more time around people. If you just sit there alone, the possibility that friends might come to you is much (small).Remember, friends rarely come knocking on you door when you sit at home (play) on your laptop.

Join an organization. It is the best way (meet) new people. You don't need to have a lot in common with others so as to make friends with them. You just need to find a place where you can find someone who is (interest) in the same hobby as you happen to have.

Be friendly and loyal to a friend. We (hear) of fair-weather friends before. They are those who are happy to be round you when things are going well, are nowhere to be found when you are in trouble. Try to be real friend when your friend really needs you. It will make some (different) to both you and your friend.

Perhaps there is no sport in the world more{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (connect) to sneakers(运动鞋) than basketball. Now, thanks to a new policy, the NBA will{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (strong) its status as the most stylish sports league in the world. When the 2018﹣2019NBA season kicked{#blank#}3{#/blank#} in October, the NBA lifted its color restrictions (限制) on players' sneakers. It is the first time in the league's 72-year history that it{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(allow) shoes to be of any color a player likes, as long as no reflective material{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(include).

This landmark rule change is part of the NBA's collective effort to support players' "statements" on and off the court. "{#blank#}6{#/blank#} increasing number of people have come to realize that restrictions on the color of players' shoes actually limit{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (they) personal expression and storytelling," CNN News noted. Kobe Bryant brought the low﹣top style of sneaker with a Mamba print to the forefront in 2008to symbolize the spirit of perseverance(毅力) and{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (brave). Kyrie Irving of the Boston Celtics wears probably the{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (well-known) signature sneakers. Inspired by his mother, who died when he was four, he has a rose on one side of his shoe to represent her.

There is no end to the stories about sneakers in basketball. It's certain that they will remain a platform{#blank#}10{#/blank#} players express their ideas and personalities.

Monkeys do not like it when others get more food {#blank#}1{#/blank#} they do, according to a new study.

Researchers from Yale and Harvard universities found Capuchin monkeys punish monkeys {#blank#}2{#/blank#} get more food. "This sort of, 'If I can't have it, no one can' response is because {#blank#}3{#/blank#} psychological spite (怨恨), and it was{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (previous) thought unique to humans," said Kristin Leimgruber of Harvard University. She is a co-author of the research study. The researchers watched as some Capuchin monkeys {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (give) more food than others. They found that monkeys getting the {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (small) share pulled a rope to fold up a table holding the other monkey's bigger share.

Another lead researcher, Laurie Santas, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (explain) over email, "I think what we can conclude about humans is that some of our more embarrassing tendencies have relatively deep {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (root)." Santos said the spiteful response was not present with another member of the ape species—chimpanzees(黑猩猩).

An earlier study, she said, showed chimpanzees would fold up the table of other chimpanzees {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (steal) food from them. But they would not punish chimpanzees who just happened {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (have) more food, Santos said. In other words, it was fine if another chimpanzee had more food as long as they did not steal it.
