One famous type of tea is Pu'er,from Yunnan Province. There are two kinds of Pu'er teas: raw and ripe. Raw Pu'er is bitter at the beginning but gets better with age,while ripe Pu'er is made in a special way that gives it a rich flavor(味道). Pu'er tea has been traded since the Tang Dynasty, and it became very popular during the Qing Dynasty.
Another special tea is Enshi Yulu,a green tea shaped like pine needles,only produced in Enshi City, Hubei Province. This tea has a lovely green color and a delicious,smooth taste. It has been around since the Tang Dynasty and is still enjoyed today for its health benefits.
Jasmine tea is popular in Fujian Province. It has a lovely floral aroma(花香). The tea was first created during the Song Dynasty and became a favorite of the royal family during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Longjing tea, a famous green tea from Hangzhou,is known for its appearance,aroma,and taste. It has been prized since the Tang Dynasty and was even offered as a gift to the emperor during the Qing Dynasty. White Peony tea,a type of white tea from Fujian province,is another example of China's rich tea culture. It is valued for its health benefits and pleasant flavor
