   Some people like the bright colour car made in China. It's really a good choice(选择). The bright colour car made in China is cheap, nice and safe. This kind of cars is suit for(适合于) the general income (收入一般的) family.
   Some people love famous foreign cars like Japanese cars, American cars and German cars. They're good but too expensive. But most people think famous foreign cars of better quality are better in safety. These are suit for the high income family or for business.
Some people like sports cars, because they're fast and exciting. Some sports cars are very nice but very expensive. Only rich people can afford them.
   Some people like travelling, so they need a travel car. Travel cars are comfortable. But they use much oil(油). What's the best car for us? Maybe it's a new and popular topic in life.

New baby brother

I was sitting in school

    Few words are spoken more often every day on the streets of Britain than "I'm sorry". This phrase has become such a common response(反应) that it has taken on a lot of meanings.

    Saying "Sorry" means to apologize(道歉). This is simple and easy to understand. We learn it both as a native speaker and as a student of foreign languages.

    But in Britain, it takes on another meaning. It is a cultural expression. Imagine this: a man walks down the street, looking down at his phone. A woman is walking in the opposite direction, towards the man. She sees him, but she can't get out of the way in time. The man bumps (碰撞) into the woman. Who should say sorry? Naturally, the man should say sorry, because it was he who wasn't looking where he was going. Yet in Britain, it is common for both to apologize.

    It is known that British people, like most people, do not enjoy conflict(冲突).So to quickly calm the situation, British people will apologize to each other.

    Other times it may sound funny to hear "sorry". Some of my friends say it at restaurants, as they ask the waiter: "Sorry, but can I order another drink?" It is not to apologize, but just to express that we need the waiter. In Britain, sorry doesn't always mean exactly what you think.

    Renminbi is on the rise

    The amount of RMB that one dollar can buy is called the exchange rate(汇率) between the RMB and US dollar. There are exchange rates between most countries. They show the rate at which one currency(货币) can be exchanged for another.

    The rates are decided by the different prices of the same product in countries. These change every day. A currency will become more expensive when demand(需求) for it is greater. As more and more countries have begun to trade(做贸易) with China in recent years, the RMB is in great demand, which has made its value go up.

    The other side of the coin

    A more expensive RMB is good for people like Ye. Chinese people can get more foreign currencies while exchanging with their money. They can buy more imported food, clothes, and cars. It also makes it cheaper to travel abroad.

    But it is not good for Chinese exporters(出口商) , like clothing sellers. A S1 export will bring in less yuan.

    What's more, Chinese clothing sells well abroad because of its low prices. Now a made-in-China T-shirt will cost foreigners more. There may be fewer foreigners who will buy Chinese products.

    Today, with the development of society, people all over the world almost have the same hobbies That is to say, we are not very different in some way. However, cultures are still quite different. In the East and in the West, social rules are not the same.

    In the East, it takes a long time to become someone's friend. People are very close to their friends. When people from the West meet you, they will call you a friend right away. That doesn't mean they are close to you.

    When people from the East meet you, they want to know about your age, your salary (薪水) and whether you are married or not. For people from the West, these are not polite questions. They think such kind of questions violates their privacy (隐私).

    Family is important for everyone. However, in the East, kids live with their parents for a long time. They still listen to them after they grow up.

    In the West, independence is very important. After their kids grow up, they leave home. They don't have to listen to their parents.

    In the East and in the West, people think differently, too. People in the West think less and act more. In the East, people notice relationships between things, and they often keep their opinions quiet.
