In 1995, Ma Yun was working for a US trading company（公司）when he was introduced to the Internet. "I know nothing about computers and has never touched a keyboard," he said. He searched the word "beer" and nothing came up about Chinese products.

Ma Yun had an idea. Why not build a large Internet market to connect customers with companies from all over the world? They could do business online in that way. That was how Alibaba began. His company grew quickly. But that didn't mean everything went smoothly. In 2000, many Internet companies failed including Alibaba. But later, he was successful because he managed to attract(吸引) investment（投资）into his company. "You should stick to your dream," he said. "Everyone thought I was daydreaming when I started. But the most important thing is that we believe in our dream from past to today and tomorrow. Of course we made many mistakes, but we never give up."

Ma Yun is also smart. For him, success in business is like trying to catch a rabbit. If there are nine rabbits, focus on catching one - don't try to catch them all," he said. "Change your ways if you need to, but don't change the rabbit. Get one first, put it in your pocket and then catch the others."

    Lin Dan is a famous badminton player. He didn't win the gold medal this year but many people know him because he won the gold medals in 2008 and 2012. He is from Fujian. He was born on October 14, 1983. He lives with his parents, grandmother and his wife now. Lin Dan's favorite player is Jordan. Jordan is a basketball player. Lin loves Coke. He likes pets, but dog is his favorite. Many young people love him very much. They think Lin Dan is their super star. They also call him Super Dan.

Bury trip﹣﹣June 18th，2016

    We will be leaving the Perse School at 13：45．Please be at the school gate 10minutes early．If you are late，you may miss the bus and not be able to go! If you miss the bus，you won't get your money back．The bus is planned to arrive in Bury at 14：30，although this depends on traffic．You will have free time to walk around and we will meet at the same location where we arrived at 17：15to return to the Perse School by about 18：00．

    Things to do Visit the Abbey

    The Abbey is the min （废墟）of a church which was built more than 1，000years ago．There are many nice gardens in it．And next to the Abbey，there is a big new church．

    Have a drink in the Nutshell

    This little bar is famous in Britain because it is officially （正式地）the smallest bar in the country．Good things are put in small bags，and the Nutshell serves some of the area's finest beer，as well as fascinating photos．

    Have a look at a beer shop

    At the Greene King shop you can taste and buy some of the local beer，as well as food such as potato chips．There are also clothes available to buy．

    A lion is tired very much and sleeps on the ground one day . A cat runs after a little mouse . The mouse runs around and comes to the lion . The mouse sees the lion and he is very afraid (害怕的) . “ I' m very sorry . Please let me go . I can help you some day . ” The lion sleeps well and feels happy now . He says , “You can help me ? You are too small . But I am happy now . You can go . ” The mouse goes .

    One day , the lion is in a cage(笼) . He can't get out . The little mouse sees the sad lion . He bites (咬)  the cage with his teeth . Soon the lion goes out . “Am I right ? ” says the mouse , “ A small animal can help a big one sometimes . ”

    7-year-old Tom likes cartoons very much. When the cartoons begin on TV, he does nothing until they're over. Sometimes he waits for a long time and goes to bed late. In the morning his mother has to wake him up, or he'll be late for school.

    Yesterday Tom heard there would be an interesting cartoon today. This morning, as soon as he got up, he turned on the television, but he didn't see the programme on it. He had to have breakfast and then go to school. After school he ran home while his mother was cooking lunch in the kitchen. He hurried to the sitting room and turned on the television again, but he couldn't find the cartoon. He rushed into the kitchen and asked his mother for help.

    "It's only ten to twelve now," said the woman," your programme will start after dinner." "Well, let's have dinner right now!"
