Pablo's room was never tidy．He liked to put his things everywhere．Nico's room was always tidy and clean．He liked to organize(整理)everything．

    Pablo and Nico had a baby sister one Sunday． ⑴

    In the second week，Nico put some tape(胶条)on the floor(地板)．"You, stay on your side，"said Nico．But Nico had to cross the tape every day to leave the room，so he took the tape away．

    In the third week，they thought they needed some rules．

    "The first rule is that you can't use my things，”said Pablo.

    "The second rule is that you can't use my things," said Nico．

      ⑶  And at last they thought there was one more thing to do．"We need to paint(用颜料画)in our room!"Lucky for them．they had the same idea about what to paint．

    Billy Dengler, a 14-year-old boy, is in the eighth grade. When he was born a month later, Billy's mother, Terri, noticed that his eyes weren't quite as big as a normal baby's. She took Billy to the hospital, and the doctor said Billy would never be able to see.

    "It's a sighted world," Billy said. "You can't let anything get in the way of your dreams, and if you do that, you can't move forward and make your dreams come true."

    A man got lost in a desert. He walked for two days but he still couldn't find his way out. Dying for water, he found an empty house in the desert. There was a water pump(水泵）in the house!

    The man was so happy that he ran to draw water. But no water how hard he tried, no matter came out.

    He was sitting sadly on the ground when he saw a little bottle with a cork in it. On the bottle, there was an old note saying: You must add the water into the pump before you can draw water! Don't forget to fill it with water again before you leave! The man took the cork out and found the bottle was full of water!

    If I'm selfish（自私的）, as long as I drink the water, I can go out of this room alive, he thought. If I do as the note says, I might die of thirst. Should I take the risk or not?

    At last, he decided to do as the note said and began to draw water. Sure enough, lots of water started coming out from the pump!

    After he drank enough, he filled the bottle with water and added his words after the note.

    “Believe me, do as the note tells you!” he wrote.

    Hans said to his friend Kurt, "I'm going to take my car and drive to London." Kurt said," Driving to London is very difficult. You aren't going to find your hotel." But Hans was not afraid. He drove to Calais, put his car on his ship, took it off at Dover and drove to London.

    He stopped near the city and looked at his map. Then he drove into London, but he didn't find his hotel. He drove round and round for an hour, and then he stopped and got out of his car. A taxi came, and Hans stopped it. "Take me to the Brussels Hotel." he said. But he didn't get into the taxi; he got back into his car. The taxi man laughed, but then he drove to the Brussels Hotel and Hans followed him in his car. They got to the hotel in two minutes.
