鲁教版(五四制)七年级上册Unit 5 Where did you go on vacation? Period 2 Section A (Grammar Focus-3c) 同步练习

任务型阅读

    Whether it's one day off or a week, you don't need to be among people to have a great time. You can spend your holiday on your own doing something you have no time to do in your everyday life.

    Eat your favorite foods. They can bring you much pleasure for sure. You can make a healthy meal at home. Cook something you love but usually don't have time to make. Instead of having meals at home, you can also go to a local restaurant for something special. Eat it there, or bring it home.

    Stay away from technology. You may have a chance to find the real beauty of life. Maybe you can't help playing with your smartphones all day while you are on holiday alone. Why not create more time to go hiking, fly kites or do some other outdoor activities?

    You can go shopping, see a film, or take a class. Take your time to search for something even small that you want. Going to see a movie or a show alone can be a fun experience. Use your holiday as a chance to try something new like dancing or painting.

    Leave your worries behind and try to be a master of your own, but remember that nothing is more important than safety.

A. Try to find something new and fun to do.

B. Whether you eat out or cook at home, enjoy!

C. Being alone can also be relaxing and amazing.

D. All in all, relax and have a wonderful holiday.

E. In this way, you will have chances to be close to nature.

    There are some skills for students to listen to teacher in class, which means you're going to have to practice it. Just as you would have to practice basketball to be a better player, you also have to practice listening. How to listen in school? {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

    One of the things you need to do is to make sure that your mind doesn't wander(漫游). It's easy to start thinking about other things, especially when you're not interested in the subject. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Next, listen for the main ideas. If you want to catch every little piece of information, you'll feel tired and bored. You'll also need to look at the teacher. Not only does this show respect (尊重) to the teacher,  it also helps prevent your mind from wandering. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Or it could just be someone talking to their neighbors who shouldn't be, it can even be some birds outside the classroom window, or a group of kids who are talking loudly as they pass the door to your room.

    Finally, you need to take notes because you can not remember everything the teacher says. You'll have to take down the notes so that you can study it after class. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}

    Listening isn't always easy, but if you follow these simple steps, you'll be much more successful in your classes.

A. Here are some suggestions.

B. Listen carefully is helpful.

C. It might be a friend who is trying to pass you a note.

D. Taking notes also makes you pay attention to the class.

E. So make yourself pay attention to what the teacher is saying.
