    When I was a little girl, my family were very poor. My parents were workers but couldn't afford to buy toys for me. As a result, my dolls looked a lot differently from that bought from toy stores. My dolls were home-made. The first doll I owned was made of a glass Coca-Cola bottle. I was so excited to make a doll by my own. Soon I became a collector of empty Coca-Cola bottles although I saw each bottle as possible baby doll at that time. People who worked in the store sell Coca-Cola could see me pick up empty bottles almost every day. Those home-made toys had brought me a lot of happy.

    I'd like to tell you something more about our school sports meet. It was holding on Oct. 6th, it was a fine day. There were over 1,000 students and teachers attended it. Wang Lin, a student from my class won the 100-meters race. He finished the race in 12.6 seconds and broke the school record. The sports meet was really success. That was because we were all trying to do my best. Although I was not one of the winner, I was proud of that we had done.

    Last Sunday, I sat at my favorite table in a restaurant and wait for the food I had ordered to arrive . Suddenly I found that Lin Ling，one of my classmate worked like a waitress there .     How are you getting on these days?

    I wonder if you could sell some Chinese knots (结)for me. I make them myself with red silk thread, cloth and some other materials. They look real beautiful in the shape of a diamond, about 5 inches long or 4 inches wide. In China, this knots stand for friendship, love and good lucky. People can either give them as gifts friends or hang them in their houses. They are only 12.99 dollars every.

    Last year I went to the seaside to spend my summer holiday with my family. We stay there for about two weeks. The weather was much hot than that in my hometown, and I got used to it. Every morning, I got up early and went for a breakfast ahead of time. Then I went the beach and talked with John, that was my new friend and I came across her in my first morning there. John was warm-hearted and he seemed to be very familiarly with the seaside village. Soon we became very good friend. We have kept write to each other ever since then.

    I always wanted to be great scientist. I had these dreams of discovering a new drug that would save the life of hundreds of people. Unfortunate, I was never very good at chemistry at school and the teacher used to getting very angry with me. After a while, I decided I would become an inventor and designed an only product which would become a household name. My parents were quite encouraged, but told me to be a little more realistic. A few weeks late, I had a clever idea for a pen that would write with upside down. To my disappointment, a friend of me pointed out it was not a new discovery.
