       Last month, I together with my parents, were invited to myuncle in the USA. My uncle, who moved America when I was five, has been livingthere for nearly ten years. He meets us at the airport. I was excited while I set foot on the land of America. In the following days, we visited some placesof interests and took photos in the front of the Statue of Liberty. We both enjoyed visiting the Museum of Natural History because it great enriched our knowledge. For me, this is one of the most rewarding trips I have never made in my life.

    Last weekend, our class went hiking. Early in the morning, we gathered at People's Square in the city center and then head for the South Mountain, which was 8 kilometers away. Our goal was to climbing to the top, from which we could enjoy a good view.

    It was an exhausted hike and the heats consumed all our energy. Therefore, when we finally reached to our destination, the view took our breath away. It was well wroth walking such long distance. Because I not only got relaxed by enjoying the beauty of nature but also learned the truth which our efforts will always pay off in the end.

    I used to delay things until deadlines, that caused me much trouble. Therefore, I thought of some ways to get rid the bad habit. First, I took a shower right after I got home from school. It refreshed me but made my thoughts more active. Furthermore, in order to avoid being constant disturbed by my cell phone, I left them with my parents. The final strategy I use was scheduling. I managed to planning my days ahead of time so that I could break up my tasks instead of having too many work to do on the last day. By using these simple technique, I've improved my efficiency and made a great progress.

    Our school offers many a kinds of hobby classes. We take it in our free periods or after school. Last year, I took a freely Wednesday evening piano class, which I made friends with Li Hua. We chanced to live in the same residential community, but after class, we often walked home together. Little by little, we found that we shared a lot in common, though we were in different grade. Since then we had been very good friends. This summer Li Hua will finish high school and taking her College Entrance Examination. I wish her better luck, and also that we could keep close touch with each other and be good friends forever.

    Recently, the Ministry of Education has issued a requirement which students should be given labor education while at the school, which arouses a heated debate.

    As for students, opinion are divided. Some students think that it will be great benefit for their health, enabled them to be well developed. On the other hand, some students hold the view that this kind of education will take up our time, which will be spent studying otherwise. But it will have a negative effect on their grades.

    It was true that students are given little chance of laboring nowadays, thus lacking the sense of labor. So as far as I am concerned, students definite should receive labor education so that they will value more that labor brings about.
