    Thank you for share the stories about you and your best friend in your last letter. I have a best friend, who name is Wang Ming, and we had known each other for a long time. We met on the first day of school. We were deskmate in class. We both liked pop music and we often went to my house to listen CDs. It wasn't long after we became best friends.

    Confidence plays very important role in people's life. Facing with difficult problems, we should have faith in themselves. When I was in Junior One, nobody could imagine what hard I was struggling with my English pronunciation. Afraid of losing faces before my classmates, I dared not open my mouth. I was about to give up while my teacher came to me, giving me a hand. His encouraging words lit me up and benefited from me a lot. With confidence regained, my spoken English improved great.     Last month, my good friend Mark got an expensive watch as his birthday present. He showed to everyone in my class proud. I really envied him and every day I ask my mum to buy me an expensive present. However, to my disappointment, I only got a second-hand bike at that special day. So one day while I was riding my “dear” bike back home from school, I passed the shop that my mum worked. I saw a familiar figure kneeling down in the front of it cleaned the outside steps of the shop. It was my mum! She worked so harder to raise me!     My father is the person constantly looks for mistakes in other people and thought no one is perfect in the world. His character was created a negative atmosphere in my family. I was the same like my father, so I often felt angry, disappointed, depressed, and alone in school. Fortunately, my favorite book changed this.

    Before I had read my favorite book I began to seek "good things" in other people. It has complete altered my life.     My favorite cartoon character is "Doraemon" creating by Japanese manga artist Fujiko F. Fujio. He was official given life in a factory on September 3, 2112. In the cartoon, Doraemon traveled back in time from the 22nd century help the character Nobita Nobi. She is famous for the tools that come out of a fourth-dimension pocket on his stomach, and one of his most famous tool is "anywhere door" what allows people to travel anywhere they wish. After the cartoon debuted in December, 1969, Doreamon gained great popular rapidly. Now, he is also considered as the icon of Japanese culture both in home and abroad. In 2008, Japanese government appoints Doraemon as "anime ambassador" in the order to promoting Japanese animated cartoons.
