    This is my fifth day at the summer camp. Life isn't exact what I expected. We have to get up early to make our beds before our teacher Miss Li come to inspect.     I'm happy to get from your letter and knew you're coming to China.

    Among the two trips to the Yangtze River and Mount Tai, both are high recommended (推荐). Personally, I prefer the tour along the Yangtze, longest river and one of the mother river of Chinese civilization. You can learn a tot about the history of China and Chinese people. Moreover, the scenery along the river are amazing, with many well-know sightseeing spots. That's because I think the trip along the Yangtze will be a better choice.

    Three years ago I failed an important exam in my life and become a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly equipped classroom, I found the teachers patiently and considerate. Besides, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere in class. I decided make the best of it. I worked hard and got along good with my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they are always available. Soon, I became one of the top student in my class, and which greatly increased my confidence and got me motivated.

    My experience tell me that it is not what you are given but how you make use for it that determines who you are.

    A perform in our city made people think more about an overuse of plastic bags. It called on people use more cloth bags instead of plastic one. In front of a largely supermarket, five volunteers wear white plastic bags and walked through the crowd. Some of the plastic bags worn by the volunteers was collected from customers in two food markets, and all the others were collected by 700 students from a secondary school. On that day, upon leaving the food markets, customers were asking to hand in the plastic shopping bags that they didn't need of. Several hundreds plastic bags were collected within just two hours.

    I participated in a gymnastic competition last Saturday. My mom or sister went to the stadium to cheer for me. My mom seemed to have sensed my anxious. She comforted me by tell me that I was the best. Besides, she told me to close my eye and take a deep breath. When it was my turn to performing, I entered with a smile and wave to the crowd. I just focused my performance. At the end of the competition, my mom gave me a warmly hug. My sister said it, "You should regard this as a glorious defeat." Although I didn't won, I felt proud of myself.
