When I began my senior high school years, I had difficulty to learning English. I dared not speak English in public because my poor pronounce. I could not get high marks, but I always used bad grammar. Afraid of be laughed at, I never put up my hand answer questions in class. When my English teacher Miss Li learned about this, she encouraged me and lend me a hand, which helped improving my English. With his help, I became interest in English and finally got high marks. Miss Li, like a shining star, shines on my path to success.

I'm a huge book lover but like sharing my love for books! So I've been buying books frequent. Finishing reading one book, I often placed it in or around my school. In that case, some of my schoolmate can help themselves to a book. I especially like placing it on the only stone table in our school garden, in it students may have time to take up a rest. It was until last weekend that I saw a card leaving on the table to say thanks. And from the card, I knew my book turned out to be a birthday gift for a strange girl. I was so happy to find that my book could bring anyone pleasure!

Once, a man got on a bus to New York. Because he did not want to pay, so he hid in the toilet. But a passenger saw her. She tapped the person in front of her on the shoulder and say, “There's a bum (流浪汉) in toilet. Tell the bus driver.” The message was passing on from person to person. But somewhere along the way, it was changed. The bus driver told that there was a bomb in the toilet. He immediate stopped the bus and telephoned the police.

When the police came, they told the passengers to get off the bus or stay far away. Then they closed the highway. As a result, a traffic jam of 15 mile long was soon caused. In the help of a dog, the police searched for two hours. Of course they found no bomb.

I had an amazed experience last Spring Festival. In the second day of the holiday, it was snowing heavily but we had a very important relative to visit, that lived in a distant mountain village. We had to take risks to drive on our journey. The road was bad, but we arrived safe.

The family welcomed us warmly. We were treated with good dinner. Later in the afternoon, after saying goodbye, we had started back home.

Sadly, our car is stuck in the snow halfway and wouldn't move. Just then, two villager walked by or offered to push our car. Their helping us out made us trip unforgettable.

How is it going? Knowing that you are interesting in Chinese calligraphy, I'm writing to tell you it's my pleasure to help you learn them.

As I have been practicing it for many years, I have much valuable experience and know exact what you need for calligraphy. So I will prepare some tool that are of great use for you, like the writing brush, ink and paper, that are necessary for practicing calligraphy. As you know, I had piano lessons from Monday to Sunday. I will be free on Sunday afternoon. Thus, you can come to my home at 2:00p. m. on every Sunday if it is convenient for you.
