A daily multivitamin may give your well-being an extra benefit, but if you've ever swallowed one and felt sick right after, you know it's hardly a pleasant experience.
You're taking vitamins on an empty stomach.
Vitamins that are more acid in nature, like vitamin C, may cause nausea(恶心)if they're consumed on an empty stomach. Vitamins A, D, E and K, unlike some others, may be better absorbed when not taken with food.
Vitamins are like medicines in that they can act on each other and other medicines you're taking. Some research suggests that multivitamins could cause side effects when taken at the same time with high estrogen(雌激素)levels.
There's a lot of iron in your pill.
Multivitamins that contain a lot of iron or iron supplements themselves can cause nausea. This is especially true if you're taking them outside of a meal. Iron is interesting in that it's best absorbed on an empty stomach, but it's hardest to take on an empty stomach because of the nausea. It might decrease the absorption a little bit but it's better than nothing.
Allergic reaction side effects.
Since multivitamins contain so many vitamins and minerals, allergic reactions are certainly possible .Mild allergic reactions can include itchiness(痒) and a few hives(荨麻疹). Should you experience more advanced signs of an allergic reaction, such as trouble breathing, chest pain, widespread hives or a swollen facial region, visit the closest emergency room immediately.
A. You're taking vitamins with other medicines.
B. Below are a few reasons why multivitamins may be making you ill.
C. It's important to discuss with an expert the timing of these vitamins.
D. These stomach issues can be extremely disturbing.
E. It's better to take it with food than trying taking it on an empty stomach.
F. If you experience these side effects, stop use and contact your doctor.
G. Please review the combinations to make sure there are no harmful interactions.
UrbanizationUntil relatively recently, the vast majority of human being lived and died without ever seeing a city. The first city was probably founded no more than 5,500 years ago.{#blank#}1{#/blank#}In fact, nearly everyone lived on farms or in tiny rural (乡村的) villages. It was not until the 20th century that Great Britain became the first urban society in history—a society in which the majority of people live in cities and do not farm for a living.Britain was only the beginning.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}.The process of urbanization—the migration (迁徙) of people from the countryside to the city—was the result of modernization, which has rapidly transformed how people live and where they live.In 1900, fewer than 40% of Americans lived in urban areas. Today, over 82% of Americans live in cities. Only about 2% live on farms.{#blank#}3{#/blank#}Large cities were impossible until agriculture became industrialized. Even in advanced agricultural societies, it took about ninetyfive people on farms to feed five people in cities.{#blank#}4{#/blank#}Until modern times, those living in cities were mainly the ruling elite (精英) and the servants, laborers and professionals who served them. Cities survived by taxing farmers and were limited in size by the amount of surplus(过剩)food that the rural population produced and by the ability to move this surplus from farm to city.Over the past two centuries, the Industrial Revolution has broken this balance between the city and the country.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}Today, instead of needing ninetyfive farmers to feed five city people, one American farmer is able to feed more than a hundred nonfarmers.

Growing up I remember my weekly "career" announcements. Anchor woman, flight attendant and teacher, among many, many others. Each week I heard "you can do that. You will be good at that". {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.
Throughout life, I learned that not everyone believed in me the way my mom and dad believed in me. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. I dug deep and gain success. I have 2 children of my own now and I echo those words of encouragement to them everyday. I often tell my nieces and nephews, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.
{#blank#}4{#/blank#} as I listen to other family members tell their children and even my boys telling that to each other.
Most often when we think of what passes from one generation to the next it consists of artifacts and genes.
I will pass these words on and I know they will carry on for each generation to come. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.
