A 50-year-old American officer came back to his school. The teacher asked him to give a talk to the small boys and girls there. The talk was about the love of their great country. All the little ones were sitting in a large meeting room. The old officer went up and began speaking. He said, “Boys and girls, I studied in this school forty years ago. :I think kids learn better by studying for tests. If you actually sit and study what you are supposed to learn, you'll remember it. Hands-on projects might end up making a kid feel stressed if they are trying to finish on time, and If you are stressed, you might not learn as much.  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

:When people study, they remember what was in the book. If they know they have a test, they will most likely to take notes on all the important information to help them with the test, so they will learn it better.  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Confidence(自信)is very important in daily life. It can help you to develop a healthy attitude(态度). A study shows that the people who are more confident are much happier. They can have more chances to make themselves successful. But how to be more confident? Here are some suggestions:

●Speak loud

    When you are not confident，you can't do well what you want to do. You speak in a voice so low that other people can hardly hear you. Try to speak loudly enough so that people can hear you clearly. The. high voice can help you become more confident.

●Play sports

    Physical exercise makes you tired but completely relaxed. A strong body helps you be full of confidence.

●Encourage yourself

    Write down a list of things you did during the day to see how many things you have done well. Did you finish your homework? Did you tell a joke that made everybody laugh? Give yourself praise for the good things you've done.

●Get rid of(消除)fear

    Fear comes along with failure(失败). But it's easy to overcome(克服)if you know that failure is part of your life. Don't hide your head just because you said something stupid last time. Try to start again and believe you can do better.

●Pick up a hobby

    If you like singing, sing as much as you can. In some ways, a hobby can make you outstanding. And it will make you happy and confident.

    Everyone wants to relax (放松) after working or studying for a long time. I have many ways to relax. Let me tell you some of my favorites.

    I am a big sports fan (迷). So I often watch or play many kinds of sports. But my favorite is football. I find it really cool.

    I usually listen to music in my free time. My favorite is some beautiful piano music. Some people can't do things well when listening to music, but for me, it is not the case, I think I can study better with my favorite light music.

    I also like visiting places of interest in China and in other countries, and enjoying nice food there. It helps me to know more about various people and places.

    International travelers, whether traveling for business or pleasure, will find themselves alone from time to time. Here are a few ways to meet new people and perhaps even get new travel chances.
