Kate: Strawberries and cherries are my favourite fruit. What colour are they? They are red! The setting sun is red. Our national flag (国旗) is red. Red is also the color of fire. It always make us warm and excited.

Jack: The sky and sea have the same colour—blue. That's my favourite colour. Blue makes me calm (平静).When I'm unhappy because of a bad school grade, I just lie on the grass and look up at the beautiful blue sky.

    One weekend, a wife and a husband(丈夫)went to visit a shop in Tokyo. After they got back home, they couldn't find their camera(照相机). They thought the camera must be in the shop. After a few weeks, they went to that shop again and the boss of the shop gave their camera back to them.

    When their pictures of the camera came out, the husband saw two pictures he did not take. One is a man standing at the door of the shop. In his hand there is a piece of paper(纸) with some words on it "I find your camera. "The other is a boy with a piece of paper in his hand. There are some words on the paper too "I take the pictures".

    Beethoven had an ugly face , and he had a very bad temper (脾气), but people like to ask him to their homes. When he lost his temper, they forgave (原谅) him. He was often poor and ill during his life. After one illness, he suddenly found himself deaf. At that time he was just 31. What a blow(打击) it was on him! But this didn't stop Beethoven from walking on in his life. He went on writing much music. He wrote long pieces and short pieces, happy ones and sad ones all his life. During his life, he composed (作曲) about 300 pieces. To people's surprise, he wrote some of his best and most beautiful pieces after he became deaf. Many of them are known and loved all over the world.

    There was a time when everyone's opinion was mine as well. Remember that your opinion matters just as much as the next guy's, whether they make more money than you or are less popular than you. Everyone's opinion holds the same weight.

    When I was a teenager, I'd be angry and go crazy if I had heard someone said bad things behind my back. Looking back on those memories now, I'm not too surprised. After all, when you have little self-control, anything is possible.

    Will one small quarrel among friends decide the development of the friendship? In my world it felt like it. I just wanted so much to be right and for them so much to be wrong. It only resulted in me wasting my time and in the other person storming off in frustration.

    I'm not saying every parent knows what's the best for kids, but in general, parents do what they do to help us know how to look after ourselves. My parents used to make me do the dishes, cook dinner, sweep the floors, take out the garbage…Now I can take better care of myself.

    Whenever I'd lose a friend, get an awful grade, or disappoint my parents, I feel terrible. Fortunately, I know now that we don't have to be stuck in bad situations. We can go out and create better ones. It all depends on how you see the situation.
