    Last Friday, Just before the 66^th National Day holiday, I conducted interview with James Watson, a famous American scientist, talk about how to become a successful scientist. On his opinion, to be a scientist, we needed to be very fond of science. What's most, we have to keep practicing as well as learn from other successful scientist.     The Oxford English Dictionary is thinking of adding the Chinese word "tuhao" to its latest edition. The word had become popular in China during the past few months to describe rich people who spend money in wasteful ways. "Tuhao" has been caught on in western countries, either. Similar people are described likewise in his countries. True speaking, the adoption of the word by foreign countries is example of China's spreading influence. Foreigners are paying attention to which is happening in China and are picking up some Chinese words, especially the words which express unique Chinese idea and cannot be easily translated into English. Hopefully, China's influence for the world will continue to be strengthened with an increasing number of Chinese words adopting by foreign dictionaries.

    Last Saturday, feeling so boring, I wanted to experience something new. So I go online and found a nursing home what I could volunteer.

    The next day, I paid a visit the nursing home. At first I didn't know what to expect, but after greeting the elderly and talking to them patient, I was surprised by how thankful they were for their visit. Moreover, I was touched by their attitudes towards life. Although they were old, but they were young at heart.

    Volunteering provides many chance to change people's lives, include my own. If everyone makes a effort, the world will surely be a better place.

I like sports so much. When I was a little boy, my father often took me watch basketball matches. Since then, sports have became part of my life. When I started to go to school, I join the basketball team. I had much time to practice with our friends. Now, though high school life is extreme busy and I have to learn so many subject, I still keep working out every day. Sports ground is my favorite place when I can take part in many activities, such as playing football, basketball or doing high jump. I am a person with a great energy. I enjoy take exercise.
