Bill is only fifteen years old, but he's already very rich. Two years ago, Bill began a football website(网站) for young people. “I became interested in computers when I was 8 because my father's job is with computers. As a little boy, I also loved football and so I decided to make a website, especially for people of my age.”
Bill started the “Football OK!” website two years ago, and now more than 20,000 people visit it every day.
Bill is a schoolboy and a businessman as well. He usually gets up at six o'clock and looks at his e-mails. Then he goes to school from nine to four. In the evenings, he always works for about four hours on his website.
Bill's next plan is a new website:“At the moment I am thinking about a new website on American football, maybe for next year.”
And is Bill the same person that he was three years ago? “No, I am very different now. I have met a lot of interesting people on the website and I have traveled all over the world.”Bill doesn't know about the future. “Maybe I will sell the websites. I really don't know. I'll just wait and see.”

Every school seems to have a “bully”(欺凌). In fact, bullying goes on in schools all over the world. Bullying is a common situation at school. We need to get to know more about bullying.

Who gets picked on? Bullies pick on people they think don't fit in—someone who doesn't “look the same” or isn't as “smart” or as “rich”. For example, shy kids often get picked on because of their characters. Physically hitting someone is the most obvious form of bullying, but insulting(侮辱), gossiping(说闲话) and making fun of others are also usual forms of bullying.

What can you do to stop bullying? If you are the bully, think about how your actions hurt others. You can't build yourself up by putting others down. When you're feeling stressed or angry, find acceptable ways to deal with your frustrations.

If you are the victim, tell a trusted adult and get some help. Many times adults can find ways to solve the problem. Here are some wise suggestions:

● Ignore(忽略) the bully and walk away.

● Hold your temper. Maybe the bully wants you to explode.

● Don't fight physically. It may lead to more violence.

● Practice confidence even if you have to pretend it.

● Talk with parents or teachers about it. They are sure to help you solve the problem.

● Make true friends at school. That may be helpful.

Playing is serious business for children. In fact, it's what they do best! Ask them why they do it, and kids will probably say, "Because it's fun!" But it's much more than that. It's also good for them.

Studies show that from birth babies begin learning through playing. They use their five senses to get to know their new world.Touching allows them to discover how different things feel.Brightly coloured toys and clothing help develop a baby's sense of sight (视觉).When small children choose which toy to play with, they begin developing their abilities in making decisions.

Children love toys that allow them to use their imagination (想象力).Sometimes an empty box is more fun than a high-tech (高科技) toy. That's because a box can become anything to a child.

Crayons, paints and Play-Doh (彩色塑泥) are also good because they allow children to create.Traditional building blocks teach important pre-maths skills.

Playing doesn't become any less important once children start school. Many valuable lessons about life are learned on the school playground.Kids learn how to share, take turns and play by the rules.
