One day a girl found a dead rat in front of her door. This kind of thing happens a lot of in the city during winter, but she didn't pay much attention to it. However, the next day it was a dead bird on the doorstep of its house. She thought it was just some jokes playing by those naughty kids. But the same thing happens for a week! She started to get angrily. So she set up a hidden camera on the door, tried to find out the truth, which really gave her big surprise. The criminal was a cat! It left those dead body in front of her house every day at midnight.

    Time flies! This is a third year that I have been in this school. In the past two and a half years, our school had organized many activities. What impressed me best was an activity called “Learning to Farm”. In an autumn afternoon, we were sent to a farm which we learned to plant potatoes. Having been in the city for so a long time, we were so happy to go to the countryside. After divided into three groups, we started to work. Some students cut potatoes into pieces; some dug holes, and the others put the pieces of potatoes into the hole, put the earth back and push them down hard. We continued doing that until all the work was done. Although we were exhausted, but we felt fulfilled on our way back home.

    Hi, Tom! Very glad to learn that you're interested in many kinds of sports activity. Since sports are important for students' health, our school builds a large playground and a gym which there are all kinds of sports equipment. They do morning exercises every day and take P.E. classes every week. What's more, we play a variety sports after class. Most of us enjoy playing the basketball, volleyball and table tennis. As for me, play football is my favourite. I was a member of the school football team and we practise it a lot regular. I do hope you like it, either, and we can play it together some day later.

    Oseola McCarty spent more than 75 years washing and iron other people's clothes. Like a laundry woman, she was paid only a few dollar each time. Certainly nobody would consider her rich, but they were all amazed when Miss McCarty decided to donate $ 150,000 to the University of Southern Mississippi. She could save such large amount of money because of she lived a very simple life. She never learned to drive, and when she wanted to go somewhere, she just walked. She said to the reporters that the idea of helping somebody's child go to college gave her many pleasure.
