    Last Sunday, I joined the voluntary group to help keep the traffic in good order at a big crossing near our school. At 8:00 a.m., we arrived there, wore red vests with the word VOLUNTEER on the back. We helped with the police remind the passers-by to obey traffic rule.     How happy we are to know you're going to participate in our Chinese Idiom Contest. Here are what you are supposed to know about.

    The contest will be hold in the school library at 8:00 a.m in July 15, 2018. Characters wrong used should be recognized in some Chinese idioms.     Today is Sunday. The sky is full of sunshine, so does my life. At about 9:00 a.m., I go to the bookstore with my friends. There was a lot of new books. I didn't know what one to buy because these books were all useful to me. At 10:00, we went to cinema. The film was called Titanic but some people were waiting outside the booking office. It took to us about 3 hours to see it. Having seen the film, everyone was deeply moving. Some of my friends even burst out tears. From the story, I understand that love is noble and valuable.     My classmates and I decide to do something for our coming graduation. After the heated discussion, we agreed on making a video to record their school life experiences.

Material collecting took us a whole week — we interviewed our teachers or took pictures of almost every aspect of our school life. Edit the interview videos and pictures were tough. We discussed about what to be put into the video. Some compromises and arguments were unavoidable, but the video turned out to be perfectly. Several days later, when the video played at the graduation ceremony, it was well received. The students and teachers had a great time. That surely gave us a great sense of achievements.

    In early January this year, the rate of UFO reports were steady, a-round three per weeks. When, however, on Monday, January 16, a science fiction film about visitors to outer space was shown on television, there was the immediate increase in reports of sightings from all parts of the States. The commanding officer, Wayne Tyler, who directly responsible for the study of all such reports, decided to making his findings known. They wrote an article, which said that all UFO reports could be explained for quite naturally by aircraft movements. Follow this explanation, there was a rapid drop in the number of reported sightings, because the rate remained above the previous level.
