The Englishmen have a great love for the countryside. The countryside is nice and beautiful . A lot of people like to live in the countryside, because it's quiet and it has fresh air. Today a lot of people live in the countryside. But many of them have to work in cities. Different people have different ideas about living in cities or the countryside.

People from cities are often very happy to live in them. People from Manchester think that their city is good; people from Liverpool think in the same way. People from other places may like to visit the differences in these cities. In different cities, you can hear different ways of speaking and different words.

Mr. Brown is short-sighted (近视的) but he doesn't wear glasses, because he thinks it's not cool to wear glasses.

It is Saturday and it is fine today. Mr. Black likes sunny days and he wants to take a walk. He puts on(戴上) his black hat, takes his yellow bag and then goes out of his house. He walks on the street and looks around. The sun is shining and the birds are singing in the tree. Mr. Black feels very happy. Suddenly, a strong wind blows away his hat."Oh, my hat! "Mr. Black begins to run after(追赶) it. He runs and the hat"runs", too. Mr. Black feels surprised. An old man shouts at him from a window.

John is from New York. His home is near the school. So he often goes to school by bike. Every day it takes him about fifteen minutes to get there. 

Mary is a student of a middle school in Tokyo.  Every day she has to go to school by subway. It takes her about forty minutes. She often gets up very early because she doesn't want to be late for school. She is a good student.

 It is also far from her school. She usually goes to school by bus. This kind of bus has two floors. It takes her an hour every day. She must get up very early everymorning. She often gets to school early.

Tom is a student of a middle school in Iceland (冰岛).  So he usually goes to school by sledge(雪橇). It takes about twenty minutes to get there. He is sometimes late for school.
