    Buckingham Palace

    Do you know who lives there? Of course, the queen lives there. It was built in 1703. After that, many buildings were built there. In the Palace, there are a lot of art works. The Palace is opened to public(公众)for two months each summer.

    Big Ben

    It is a very famous clock in London. It is on the tower. The tower is 320 feet high, and the clock is 23 feet wide. The minute hands are14 feet long. It was built in 1859. Tower Bridge It is London's most famous landmark. Inside the twin towers, you can see the stories of the bridge.

    London Zoo

    Children must be interested in it! It was opened in 1828. It is one of the most famous zoos in the world. You can see 650 kinds of animals in the zoo.

    It's the day before school starts. Mum takes her three little boys, Jim, Bob and Tom, shopping for clothes and school things. There are so many people in the shopping center. "Stay with me, "Mum says. But it doesn't take a long time for her kids to go here and there.

    Copenhagen(哥本哈根) is a city full of fairy tales (童话故事). If you want to explore it, you have to spend a long time and walk slower to enjoy yourself. Copenhagen was the first city to have a street for walkers only. The city has less traffic noise and pollution than any other European capital.

    Walking along the river banks, you'll see the Amalienborg Palace first. The king's family is living there.

    Now computer games are popular among middle school students. Half of the (boy) students in our class like playing computer games very much. Our teachers and (they) parents tell them not to play games any more again and again， they still play computer games every day. They often spend a lot of time on computer games. What's worse, they don't listen to the teachers carefully and don't always remember (finish) their homework. It's (real) bad for them.

     (play) computer games wastes (浪费) lots of (money) and time, and is also bad for the students' health and study. But in the future students can't play computer games for long time because it won't be allowed(允许). So parents needn't worry about it any .

⑴Around(在……周围)my house，there are lots of shops. I can almost buy everything. In front of my house is a big park. I usually spend most of my weekends there. There is a cinema on the left of my house. On its right is a great supermarket.

⑵My mother works in a bank near my school. So every day, I can take her car to school. The bank is between a supermarket and a bookshop. After school. I often read in the bookshop first and wait for my mother to finish work. And then we go home.

⑶Shanghai Museum is in the center of the People's Square. It has 4, 000 square meters. In it there are so many books, paintings, and other things. People from all over China like to go there to visit. If you have time to go there, you'll have a good time.

⑷My home town is a beautiful place. It stands near a small river at the green hills(小山). It has many tall buildings and great streets. Trees and flowers are everywhere. Sometimes, I swim in the river with my friends and sometimes, we have fun in the green hills.

⑸My school lies in the south of Changchun City. It is famous in our city. It has 24 classes, 8 classes in each grade. The number of the students and teachers is over 2,000. In the front of the school stands a tall classroom building. At the back of it is a lab building and a new library.
