Today young people like{#blank#}1{#/blank#} to pop songs and pop music. There are many pop{#blank#}2{#/blank#} and singing groups ,like Back Street Boys, Secret Garden, West Life{#blank#}3{#/blank#} so on .They are foreign (外国的）singers. There are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} many famous singing groups and pop singers in {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.People like them very much. Many young people want to be pop {#blank#}6{#/blank#} .They think it will be a very good life. In fact,(实际上）most pop stars live a{#blank#}7{#/blank#} life. They spend (花费）most of their{#blank#}8{#/blank#}  on tour, and they travel{#blank#}9{#/blank#} one city to another and sing for people. Although (尽管）it can be{#blank#}10{#/blank#}  ,it can also be tired out.

    One day, I took my daughter to the park. As soon as we got there, my daughter{#blank#}1{#/blank#}to the swing (秋千) and asked for a push. When I {#blank#}2{#/blank#}my daughter, I noticed another girl trying to make her own swing {#blank#}3{#/blank#}high by herself. Her old grandmother was sitting on the chair nearby and smiling at us. Gradually, my daughter{#blank#}4{#/blank#} higher and higher by me. Then I walked towards the little girl. I asked if I {#blank#}5{#/blank#}a big push to her. She smiled and said “Yes”. For the next hour, I pushed the swings, and played with my daughter and the little girl. When we went home, I {#blank#}6{#/blank#}tired but very happy.

    One day two years later, after a day's work, I went to pick up my daughter before going home. While I{#blank#}7{#/blank#} outside the school gate, a little girl smiled sweetly at me and gave me a big hug. As I watched her running away, I{#blank#}8{#/blank#}that she was the girl whom I gave a big push in the park.

    So far, I{#blank#}9{#/blank#} her sweet smile and the warm hug that she gave me. In fact, if we give love to others, love will find its way back to us. It may travel from heart to heart or it may blossom (开花) in the heart. The love we share, the kindness we give, and the happiness we create{#blank#}10{#/blank#}back to us with a pleasant surprise.

    Now more and more Chinese students find life more difficult without their parents. They don't know how to do {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.Because their parents do almost{#blank#}2{#/blank#}for them at home, This is a big problem.

    Joy is 14 years old. One day her parents go away {#blank#}3{#/blank#} a meeting, so she has to stay at home alone. At first she thinks she will be happy{#blank#}4{#/blank#}her parents are not in. She can do everything she likes. But it is six o'clock in the afternoon, she feels{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. "Oh, it's time to have dinner. Where can I get my food?” she says ti herself.     Many students are {#blank#}9{#/blank#}Joy, they don't know how to do housework at all. So I think they should learn some basic life skills, like cooking, tidying up their rooms or {#blank#}10{#/blank#} clothes. They shouldn't depend too much on their parents.
