The students were having their chemistry (化学)class. Miss Li was telling the children what water is like. After that, she asked her students, “What's water? ” No one spoke for a few minutes. Miss Li asked again, “Why don't you answer my question? Didn't I tell you what water is like? ”

    Just then a boy put up his hand and said, “Miss Li, you told us that water has no colour and no smell. But where to find such kind of water? The water in the river behind my house is always black and it has a bad smell.” Most of the children agreed with him.

    “I'm sorry, children,” said the teacher, “our water is getting dirtier. That's a problem.”

Our lessons

    We have Chinese，Maths，English and Science on Monday morning．In the afternoon，we have PE and Music．On Tuesday morning we have Maths，English，Chinese and Art．In the afternoon，we have Science and Music．On Wednesday morning，we have English，Chinese，Maths and History(历史).In the afternoon，we have Computer and Art．

    This is my room. Near the window there is a desk. I often do my homework at it. You can see some books, some flowers in a vase, a ruler and a pen. On the wall near the desk there is a picture of c car. There is a clock above the end of my bed. I usually put my football trader my bed. Of course there is a chair in front of the desk. I sit there and I can see the trees and roads outside.

    Mr White is our English teacher. He is a tall man. He likes wearing a white shirt and black trousers. He likes Chinese very much. He likes flying a kite. We often see him fly kites in the park. His home is near the school. He often walks home. He has two sons. They are twins and look the same. They often wear the same clothes. We usually play table tennis with them. We love the twins very much.
