Personally, there is nothing I love more than asking "stupid" questions, especially the ones that have no right answers. I remember once asking some kids what time it was, at home, in Singapore, and finally on the Moon. After a long silence, finally a shy girl ventured (试探地说) to say that it was "every time" followed by an energetic Einstein who shouted it was "no time". Both kids shared that week's Noble Prize because no humans live in that faraway world and time is created by humans.

As a matter of fact, we are all good at asking questions by nature, but sadly as we age, we get used to the world around us and take things for granted. We became more results-oriented (注重结果的) and concentrate our efforts on success. If something is working, don't fix it or worry about the cause; just relax and go with the flow. Common belief may work well, but that does not mean it is always right. Throughout history, it has been those who have questioned common belief and those who have challenged our common-sense ideas of the world that have been the ones to have brought about major progress in human civilization.

In 500 BC, the ancient Greeks wondered whether the Earth was round because sailors on the sea had noticed that the farther south they went, the more different stars they saw in the sky. Why was the sky changing? Nearly 2,000 years later, the Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei became interested in this question and ended up demonstrating the "crazy" concept of heliocentrism (日心说), in which the Sun lies at the center of the universe while the Earth circles around it at 30 kilometers per second. But if the Earth is spinning around so quickly, why aren't we being thrown off of the surface of the planet? The answer to this question would not be clear for another century.

People like routine, but past performance is no guarantee of future results. While those who challenge common belief tend to be subjected to abuse, the progress of humankind would have otherwise been impossible without these persistent people and their "stupid" questions.

A strange way to get relaxed has become popular to cities across China. That is hugging trees. Young people feel comfortable after tree- hugging.

Hundreds of people online share their tree- hugging experiences. They think they feel less stressed (有压力的) and worried. It is also a way of keeping a close relationship with the natural world. By hugging a tree, some of them feel the tree is hugging them back.

Jenny gave up her job because of too much work stress. According to her, hugging trees helps her a lot . She enjoys herself in hugging trees." Hugging trees helps me relax and lets me go back to a natural state(状态). I feel so free and feel the world is so big."

In fact, hugging trees is a kind of psychological therapy (心理治疗). It first came from northern Europe. In northern Finland, there's even a tree- hugging competition every August. A study shows that hugging can lead people to give off hormone(荷尔蒙). Hormone can give people feelings of love and make people less stressed.

Though tree- hugging is helpful for people's body and mind, there are many things we should think about before we do that.

Do you feel busy after starting school life? You have many subjects to learn and you don't have much time for sleep. But you may find some classmates have a healthy school life. 

Li Wei is a student of Grade Seven. He makes a timetable(时间表) for this term. 

The timetable helps him plan his school days well. Here's his school day. 

Li Wei usually gets up and makes the bed at 6：30 a．m. Then he eats breakfast and goes to school. He stays at school from 8：00 a．m. to 5：00 p．m. Then he goes back home. Around 6：00 p．m., he has dinner. 

After that, he does his homework for two hours. He goes to bed at 9：30 p．m. 

So how can a timetable help students? It can help them improve their health. Some students have no time for breakfast or exercise. Also, they sleep and get up late. Breakfast and bedtime are important for a healthy life. 

With a timetable, students can make good use of their time like Li Wei. 

Try to make a timetable. After you do the same activities every day, they may turn into your habits(习惯).

Have you ever wanted to grow some vegetables on your balcony(阳台)? Spinach(菠菜) is a great choice. It grows easily all the year, and it has many health benefits.

Spinach can survive temperatures as low as 7℃, but that's not good for its growth. Spinach seeds sprout(发芽)best in soil between 7℃ and 24℃. Once the seeds have sprouted, the vegetable grows best in daytime between 15℃ and 27℃.

·Pot size: A pot of 15 to 20 cm deep would be the best. Depending on your space, it can be as wide as you want. 

·Make sure your pot has a hole at the bottom. 

·Soil: For growing spinach in pots, use a mix rich in organic matter(有机物). 

·Spacing: Give each spinach plant seven cm of space. If you want to harvest(收获) large leaves, give each plant a little more space. 

·Position: If you are growing spinach in the fall and winter, keep the plants in a sunny place. 

For spring and summer planting, place your plants in a cool place, especially in the afternoon.

·Watering: Keep the soil a bit wet, but not too much. Avoid watering the leaves. 

·Fertilizing(施肥): To grow healthy spinach, you need to provide nitrogen(氮素).
