My name is Li Jia. I live in Beijing. I like doing different things in different seasons.In spring, it is warm and windy.I can fly kites when it is windy. Sometimes I go hiking(去远足)with my parents. Summer is sunny and hot. So I can go swimming every day. It make me healthy and strong.Autumn is a harvest season. I like it because I can eat delicious fruit in this season.Winter is cold and snowy.When it snows，everything is white. I can play with snow, make a snowman and skate(滑冰).So I like winter best.

What do they do at weekends?

    Today is Monday. Linda is at school. She has Chinese，English and PE in the morning. She doesn't have Music today. She has Maths and Art in the afternoon. She has Music on Fridays.

    My grandfather is fifty-five years old. He's a policeman. He loves his job very much. It is Sunday. Today is his birthday. My father, my mother and I are in his home. My uncle also comes here. He's a tall man. He's a doctor. He comes to see my grandfather every Sunday. My grandfather has a good friend. His name is Jim. He's from England. He's an artist (艺术家). He comes to see him, too. My grandfather is very happy today.

    "Oh, my son!" a lady cried. Her baby fell into the river. The water carried him away quickly. A man came and said, "Can you give me the clothes or shoes of your son?

    The lady gave him a pair of shoes. The man turned to his dog. He first pointed to the shoes, and then to where the child had sunk(下沉).

    The dog jumped into the river. Soon people saw him swim back with something in his mouth. When people pulled the child and the dog from the water, everyone was happy. The lady ran to her son. The child was alive! "Oh, sir. Thanks for saving my baby. I'd love to give you anything to buy the dog!"

    It seemed that the dog knew they were talking about him. He lay down beside his owner's feet and seemed to say, "Nothing shall part(分开)."
