彼得的周末

     Peter was busy last weekend. On Saturday morning, he went hiking with his dog. They had lots of fun. Then Peter read a book. His dog sat beside him and looked at the book, too. On Saturday afternoon, he went fishing. He waited and waited. He was so tired that he went to sleep. When he woke up, he got a big fish! On Sunday morning, he did his homework and washed his clothes. In the evening, he watched TV with his parents.

 Hello. I'm Peter. Now I'm a pupil of Class Two, Grade Six. I live in Shenyang. It's in the north of Beijing. My school isn't far away from my home. I usually go to school by bike. I usually get up at half past six in the morning. My favourtie subject is PE. I like playing basketball after school. Now I don't do well. I will do better in all kinds of subjects when I go to middle school. I won't play basketball every day. I will finish doing my homework first. I will possibly be a pilot when I grow up.

    ZhangLei is my friend . He is a student . He is eleven .He lives in Shanghai . I often send postcards to him , and write an e-mail on a computer to him every week . I bought a present for him yesterday . It's a book about computer . I send it to him today . I think he can like it .

    Many years ago, people use a stick, a large piece of wood and dry leaves to make a fire. Today, wood, gas (煤气) and electricity (电) can all make a fire. I think wood is the most dangerous. And I like gas most because it's easy.

    People use fire in many ways. At home, people use fire to cook food and boil water. In factories, workers use fire to melt (熔化) metals (金属) to makes things of different shapes. Some workers use fire to make glass.

    Fire can help us to do many things, but sometimes fire is dangerous. Cigarettes and campfires can all start a fire in the countryside, in schools and at homes. We must be careful. We mustn't smoke in the countryside, and we mustn't cook without an adult (成年人). We mustn't play with matches. We mustn't play around a fire.

    I am Robin Today is Saturday. Tomorrow afternoon，I am going to the bookstore by bus. The bookstore is in front of the Italian restaurant. In the bookstore，I am going to buy a dictionary and a science book for my grandpa. Because my grandpa likes science very much. He has lots of science books In the evening，I'm going to visit my grandparent. We are going to have dinner together. After dinner, we are going to see a film about space travel. That will be fun!
