My uncle has a farm．The farm is very big．There ale thirty cows，twenty homes and fifty hens．My uncle likes potatoes very much．He has many potatoes on the farm．Today is sunny．I go to my uncle's farm．I eat apples and tomatoes there．I'm very happy．

    This is Jim's room. It's not big, but it's very clean(干净的). There is a bed in the room. It's near the door. Under the bed, there are two balls. There is a desk and a chair near the window. There is a bookcase beside the desk. On the bookcase, there are many books and newspapers(报纸). There are two pictures in the room, too. They are on the wall.

    When old Mr Chow was a young man, he went to visit his uncle in the city. His wife and children met him at the train station when he arrived back in the countryside. When he got off the train, his wife asked, "Did you miss us?"

    "Yes, I missed you all. There's no place like home. Life in the city was strange. Uncle Tom lives in a modern neighbourhood (居住区), People go up to their homes in a big box." Mr Chow said.

    "You look tired." said Mrs Chow.

    "Yes, I need to sleep. I couldn't sleep at night because the light was much brighter (更亮）than the candle in our house."

    "Why didn't you blow it out?" asked Mrs Chow.

    "I tried (尝试）to, but it was in a glass ball." said Mr Chow.

Dear Tom,

    It's Saturday today. We're going to watch a football match tomorrow. Beijing Team is going to play against (对抗) Shanghai Team. The football match is going to start at four o'clock in the afternoon. Our teachers Mr Li and Mr Wang are going to watch the football match with us. We are going there by bike. I think we are going to come back at about seven o'clock in the evening. We are going to have a good time tomorrow.
