I had a wonderful time with my exchangeprogram(交流活动中心) in France. It's much 1 than I thought. I felt a little nervous before I reached France, but there wasn't any reason to be so. My host 2 is really nice.

     They managed various ways to make me 3 at home. Every day I 4 practicing 5 French, I wouldn't believe how 6 progress I 7 in French! Although I still make some mistakes, I can think something in French without

8 everything into Chinese like I used to. My biggest challenge is learning how to behave at dinner table. All the things are really different 9 the way they are at home. You are not supposed to eat anything with your hands except bread. Another thing is that 10 is very rude to say "I'm full now." you should say "It is delicious." instead.

    It is almost Molly's birthday, and she wants only one thing. She1 that Dad can be home for her birthday. Molly's father is a 2 driver.

    Dad wakes (唤醒) Molly up on her birthday, “3, Molly !” he says. “It is a beautiful day today. The weather is nice. It's a great day for a 4.”

    “Where are you going today, Dad?” Molly asks. She doesn't feel 5 because she thinks her father is going to work on her birthday. Can't he 6Molly?

    “I mean where we are going,” Dad says. “7 are going for a ride in my taxi! Our first8 will be the meal. We will have a special birthday9!”

    “Wow!” Molly says, “10 will we go after that?”

    “Anywhere you like,” Dad says with a smile.

    Who is that? That's Zhang Hao chen. He is one of the greatest young1in China.

    Zhang Hao chen was born2June 3. 1990 in Shanghai. He showed his3talent when he was only a small boy. He4his first music show in Shanghai Concert Hall at the age of five. In 2002, he took part5the fourth Tchaikovsky(柴可夫斯基)International Youngsters Music Competition. He became the6piano player who won the first prize in the history of the competition. In 2004, he took part in the 5th Asian International Chopin(肖邦)Piano Competition in Japan, and won the gold7. In 2005, Zhang Haochen went to8at the well—known Curtis Institute of Music(柯蒂斯音乐学院)in America  His teacher is Gary Graffman. Mr Graffman is also the teacher of the9musician Lang Lang.

    In 2009, Zhang Haochen won the gold prize in the world piano competition, Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in the United States. The 19 year—old boy was the youngest piano player in the competition and he was also the10Chinese to win this prize.

    For Pineda, it was a long way to succeed.

    His story began in El Salvador; where he was born with something wrong with his mouth. He had great 1 in speaking. At age 2, his family's house burned down. Pineda was hurt  2, and his legs needed to be cut. His mother died when he was 8, and he3years on the streets before he was taken in by an orphanage(孤儿院).

    Finally, at the orphanage, Pineda began to receive support and encouragement. He taught himself to play the guitar. He began his4with other musicians. Then the group went to Chicago, where Pineda, then 18, 5the attention of many people, who wondered what they could do to help him.

    A hospital offered him free medical care. A rich man agreed to6for Pineda's tickets to and from El Salvador.

    When he was in the hospital, Pineda began7music, and wondered if he might be able to record his own album(音乐专辑).Soon with the help of a musician, "The Sound of Gratitude(感激)" was born. On October 15^th, Pineda went to a Chicago club to8his new songs to strangers, and to the friends who had helped him come so far,

    It was 9that Pineda had come into such a good luck, after having so many years of hardship(艰难). "We have a 10 in El Salvador, 'Suffer(受难）first, then enjoy.' I guess that's what's happening. " he said.

    Mr White is a millionaire(百万富翁).He 1 delicious food. He has a 2 cook, Mr Black. The man can cook all kinds of food. Mrs White asked him to3her last month. Now she thinks she's good at cooking and doesn't want Mr Black to 4 for them any longer.

    Now Mrs White begins to cook for her 5. But Mr White does not like her food at all. He says he won't 6 any food at home if she doesn't stop cooking. The woman says shell 7 another cook.

    This morning Mr White broke a window in a shop. They took him to the 8. The policeman said, "I'm sorry to tell you, Mr White. Or I'll fine(罚款) you ten dollars, or you'll stay in prison(监狱).9 do you want?

    "I'll stay in prison." answered the millionaire.

    "10?" asked the policeman.

    "Because my wife will find a new cook in ten days!"
