My name is Peter.I'm 11 years old.  I'm 1.40 metres. I like winter very much, because I can make a snowman and play in the snow. It's very interesting. My friend, Mike, is l year younger than me, but he is 5 cmtaller than me. He likes winter, too, because he likes ice-skating. Next winter holiday, we're going to Harbin to see the snow in north of China. It would be very cold, and we can play with snow every day!

    The wind and the sun are very good friends, March is their favourite month. They can play together . They don't like November. It's cold and snowy. They like different clothes and colours .The wind likes the sweater and pants . Yellow is his favourite colour .For the sun , he likes the shirt and green . The wind likes to play games , but the sun likes to sit quietly (安静的).They are different ,but they are both our friends.

    I have many friends, and they have different favourite subjects(科目). John's favourite subject is Computer because he thinks the computer can help him a lot in his study. He is a computer fan (迷). He likes playing computer games very much, and he is good at playing it. Jack likes Art best because he likes drawing (画）pictures very much. Mary likes Chinese best because her father is Chinese. Her father teaches her Chinese at home. She loves China very much, and she wants to know more about China. Bob thinks Maths is very interesting, so he likes Maths best. David likes PE best because he likes doing sports, he is good at playing basketball and football.

    Wu Dong has a good friend. His name is Tom. He is from English.

    They are in the same class. They live near the school. Every day they go to school together. Tom likes China and Chinese food. He likes noodles and dumplings very much. From Monday to Friday, they do homework together in the afternoon. On Saturday and Sunday, Tom helps Wu Dong study English and Wu Dong helps Tom speak Chinese. They learn from each other.

    The Spring Festival comes in January or February every year. It is an important (重要的) Chinese festival. People also call it Chinese New Year. On Chinese New Year's Eve (除夕), families have a big dinner together. They often eat dumplings. People visit their friends and relatives (亲戚). Children often get red packets (红包) with some money (钱) in them. People also watch fireworks at night. They like the beautiful fireworks very much.
