I was 15 when I walked into McCarley's bookstore in Ashland. As I was looking at all the books on the   1   , the shop owner asked if I'd like a job. I needed to start   2  money for college, so I said yes. I worked after school and during the summer for the lowest pay, and the job helped pay for my first year of college.     After a few days he suddenly thought that "Wall" was stronger than wind. And "Mouse" was stronger than wall. So he went to his friend to ask for an idea. His friend said, "Don't you think Cat is stronger than mouse？" "Yes, but..."

    The man thought and thought and then decided his cat's name had better be "Cat" because a mouse was always afraid of a cat. Don't you think Mr. King is very silly or funny？

    Mr. Smith is our Chinese teacher. He always asks the same student to answer his questions because he doesn't look at the students at all. Yesterday he questioned Dick three times. Dick was very angry. After class Dick asked me, "What shall I do?" I told (告诉) him a good idea. Now we are having a Chinese class. Mr Smith wants one of us to read the text. "Dick, please read the text." "Dick isn't here today." Dick stands up and says. "Oh, I see, you read it, please."
