It was Mother's Day last year and I was doing{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(shop) at the supermarket with my five-year-old son, Johnson. As we were leaving, we saw{#blank#}2{#/blank#} old woman fall down and hit her head on the ground. Her husband tried{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(look) after her, but there was blood(血) everywhere.

Seeing this, Johnson became very sad about what happened{#blank#}4{#/blank#} the old woman. At the front of the supermarket, a man was selling{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(flower). Johnson suggested(建议) that we should buy the old woman a flower. "It will make her{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(feel) better,"he said. I was glad that he'd come up with such a sweet idea. So we walked towards the flower seller and bought one.

{#blank#}7{#/blank#} we walked up to her, my son became scared(害 怕的) to see the blood. Instead I gave the flower to the husband and told him, "My son is sad to see what happened to your wife and wants{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(buy) this flower to make her calm(镇定的)."

The old man{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(cry) and said,"Thank you very much. You have a wonderful son. Happy Mother's Day." The man then gave his wife the flower, telling her who it was from. She was{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(bad) hurt, but the old woman looked up at Johnson with love in her eyes.

I was feeling a little blue because my mother had lost her job.

One day, while I was 1 in the street, I heard the piano music and singing rising above the noise of the people. I walked more slowly to 2 where it was coming from. Then I saw a young lady siting at a piano.

She was singing songs about love, 3 yourself and keeping on trying. The way she was singing made me a little comfortable. I stood there 4 , watching her playing on such a crowded square. I thought that she must be 5 enough to perform in front of so many people. She noticed me. I walked over and told her how good her 6 sounded. "Thank you," she said.

I'm glad that our school will have more hobby groups during the after-school service and they are helpful to develop our interest in study and make our school life colorful. For me, I want to start 

It does not always come easy to discover oneself. From a young age, I had a strong sense of who I was to become, 1  an accident made me redefine(重新定义) myself. To me, skating was above all. There was 2  in this world that filled my heart with such joy. I spent twenty-four hours a week practising my 3 . I have no social life or interests but skating, and skating brought me gold medals in nearly every 4 . 

Unluckily, in one show, I fell down and hurt myself 5 . After several X-rays and MRI scans(扫描), the 6  told me that I couldn't return to my sport any more. The pain in my back was hard to bear, and even the 7  daily tasks became difficult. 

As my passion(激情) was 8 , I had little sense of who I was to become. After eight months of suffering, something had to 9 . Instead of wasting my days sitting around painfully, I began to put my 10  into local community service projects. By volunteering 11  a swimming teacher and a summer reading assistant for kids, I got an idea of who I 12  to become. After a few months, I spent time on my interest in the arts. Little by little, I 13  out of the shadow(阴影) and rebuilt my confidence. 

Sometimes, some 14  rocks may in our way. We can choose to stay behind or try to climb over. My accident was a rock that 15  to stop me from reaching success. Today I'm a very confident person and feel hopeful about the future.
