Sergio is from Cuba(古巴). He was excited to visit Chengdu last summer vacation because he is fond of pandas. Yeah, pandas are his favorite animals. Even his social media account(社交账户)is called Panda Latino!
Not surprisingly, Sergio took a trip to Chengdu and his first stop was the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding(成都大熊猫培育基地). There he took quite a few photos of pandas. He also learned a lot about their favorite food bamboo.
In Chengdu, bamboo products are everywhere in people's everyday life, like bamboo tables, chairs and bags. The next stop of Sergio's trip was the Bamboo Art Village. There he learned how to make a bamboo panda, but it was not easy for him.
Then the man got to the Chengdu Botanical Garden (植物园). There he saw many kinds of plants. A worker there showed him another good place to enjoy the beauty of plants, so he made his way to Xiling Snow Mountain. The mountain is home to over 2, 000 different plants. Wild pandas live in the mountain, too. What's more, it is a good place for people to do snow sports in winter.
Sergio' s last stop was the International Horticulture Exhibition(世界园艺博览会) in Chengdu. There he enjoyed flowers from all over the world.

Back when I was a teenager, I was very interested in skiing. My parents first put me on skis when I was two years old. I loved to {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. I didn't know {#blank#}7{#/blank#} I was going, but I came behind a car with skis on top of it—so I followed it {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the way to the mountains.
I was having a {#blank#}9{#/blank#} time. So much fun, in fact, that I didn't see the ski jump (跳台滑雪的助滑道) in front of me. Well, there was nothing I could do, so I jumped. And while I was in mid air, I got so {#blank#}10{#/blank#}.
