The giant pandas live high in the forest in the middle of China. There are large black patches(斑) around their eyes, over the ears and across their round bodies. Pandas need to eat a lot of bamboo. They spend about 12 to 16 hours a day eating their favourite food. Sometimes, pandas eat fruit or meat, but they only spent little time on them. 

Pandas are the national treasure(国宝) of China! People from all over the world love them. In the past, there were lots of pandas. Today, there are more than one thousand eight hundred pandas in the wild. So we need to do all in our hands to protect them.

The Sumatran tigers(苏门答腊虎){#blank#}1{#/blank#} on many small islands in Indonesia before, but now they only live on Sumatra.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} , there were about 800 tigers on the islands. Today, the number of Sumatran tigers is less than(少于)400{#blank#}3{#/blank#} . People clear the forest to build houses. The tigers have no place to live in and they are {#blank#}4{#/blank#} .

The sunflower is beautiful. It has a round face. It looks like the sun. It looks like a warm smile(微笑) too. It can make people (让人们) feel (感到) warm. I like sunflowers very much. In autumn, the sunflower is ripe (成熟的). And we can eat its seeds(种子). They are very delicious (美味的).

        Hello, kids! You know what? There isn't enough clean water for us. Many people die because they don't have enough water. In many countries, people cut down trees. Then, there is nothing to stop the water from going away. We also make the land, rivers and air dirty. So, we have to face more floods (水灾) and droughts (旱灾). Now, it's time for us to do something good to protect our home - the Earth. We can plant trees and look after them well. We can save water and tell our parents to do it too. We mustn't throw rubbish on the ground. We should pick it up and recycle it. If we take care of our Earth now, it will be nicer and more beautiful in the future. Let's do it together!
