Welcome to the Science Museum. My name is Mrs. White and I will be you guide today. If you have any questions at any time, please don't be afraid to 1 .The more you ask, the more you learn.

Let me tell you about the museum before I take you around. There are 2 floors in all, you can learn a lot of new things on each floor.You all have3 of the building so you shouldn't get lost.

On the first floor, where we are now, you will be able to see a lot of interesting science experiments. You can try them all yourselves. We will spend an hour here.

Then we will go to the second floor. There you will see the IT floor -- how computers work, as well as mobile phones and that kind of things. On the same floor you can see the history of the car. We have some very 4 and very new cars for you to see.

On the next floor you will learn about5 travel. You will see a copy of the rocket（火箭）that took the astronaut into the moon. On the same floor you can follow the history of the airplane.

On the top floor, we will look at how the human body 6 . All in all, you will benefit a lot from this visit.

 This is my colour flip book. I like yellow, red and blue. Bananas are yellow and apples are red. Blue can say" Use again!" Yellow can say" Be careful!" How about red? Red can say" No!" Colour s are useful. I can see colors here and there.

Ariana is going to take part in the National Children's News Short Story Competition（全国儿童新闻短篇小说比赛）. She goes to a bookstore for inspiration（灵感）. Here is what she is reading in a book.

    I have an interesting shadow. It changes all the time. When the sun rises (升起) in the morning, my shadow is very long. Then the sun rises higher (更高), but my shadow becomes shorter. At noon, the sun is at the highest point(点) in the sky. The shadow is the shortest in a day. The sun goes down in the afternoon. Look at the shadow. It's long again.
