I live in Taipa, a community (社区) in Macau (澳门). My house in Taipa is very good. There are two large stores, a bank and a post office in the community. And there are a lot of great restaurants. The Sichuan restaurant is my favourite. I can get a bowl (碗) of noodles with chicken for about ten yuan in that restaurant. There is a park with a small river, gardens and trees near my house. It's very beautiful. I go running in the park every morning.

I wasn't in Macau in 2012. I was in Hong Kong at that time. My apartment (公寓) in Hong Kong was quite small. The apartment was on a busy street. There were many cars on the street. And there was no supermarket near my home. And the people there were very busy. I don't like to live in that place.

I am happy with my new house.

People live on Earth for many years. They live on different continents (陆地) and in different countries. 

    ▲    That is why lots of animals are in danger. Indian tigers and African elephants are among them. People kill (杀害) many of them. But why?

Tigers are often dangerous animals. They can kill people's chickens, sheep and other farm animals and sometimes they can also kill men. So some people kill them for protecting their animals while some kill them just for money. Some people kill elephants for their teeth because they can sell them for lots of money. 

The sad thing is that there are few Indian tigers on Earth now. Many of them are usually old sick animals and they don't kill people but stay away from them in dark forests. Or they try their best to stay away, because people are cutting down the forests. And there is a question: Do those animals get a future?"

We can ask the same question about African elephants. They are wonderful animals. They can help, and make people have fun. In the last century. Africa was full of elephants and now it is only history.

I go for long runs and bike rides beside the beach. An hour of exercise after a long day of writing gives me energy. Then I'm ready to write some more.

At first I write the stories by hand, and then I transfer (转录）them onto a computer. I like to write by hand when I travel. I find it very easy to lose myself in my diary when I am away from my usual activities.

I'm never happier than I'm thinking banana milk shakes. And I love fish. But I don't like drinking fish milk shakes. They are just terrible !

What is your favorite book ?

Alice in Wonderland. It has so many surprises and such silliness in it.

I'm Lucy from London. But now I'm in Beijing with my parents. Both of them are doctors and they love their job. I am a student and I love my school, too. School is a good place for me. I can do many things there.

I can learn a lot from school. I learn Chinese, math, science and English every day. Also, I can have fun at school. I often listen to music with my classmates. Sometimes, I talk about favorite movies and TV shows with them.

But sometimes I am not happy at school because there are too many activities and they always make me tired.

School is like my second family, and my classmates are like my brothers and sisters. The school is really a big and happy family.

Peter is a 1 in the Sunshine Middle School. His 2 name is Brown. He is eight years old and he is in 3 , Grade 4. He likes 4 a lot because he thinks they are very cute. He often 5 about animals with his classmates.

Peter visits his uncle and aunt every summer. They 6 on a farm. They have many kinds of animals like cows, 7 , sheep and a big horse. Peter loves all the animals there.

This summer, he is going to 8 how to milk a cow. His 9 cannot believe (相信) it. "We get our milk from the 10 ," they say. "But our friend is going to get it from a cow."

Peter laughs. "Milk doesn't come from the store," he says. "Milk comes from a cow." His friends do not believe him so they 11 their teacher. The teacher says, "Peter is 12 . Milk comes from cows. Cows eat grass. They change (改变) the grass into milk. Then the farmer sells (卖) the milk. And we 13 it in the stores."

The teacher tells them one more thing, "Do you know that a cow has four stomachs (胃)?" The kids feel it is very 14 . They all want 15 to a farm to see the cows.
